    E-banking & general banking activities of Dhaka Bank PLC

    This report presents the findings of my internship, which focused on the practical aspects of "e- banking and General Banking Activities" at Dhaka Bank Limited, specifically at the Karwan Bazar Branch. The distinction between theoretical knowledge and practical experience is significant. The insights provided by employees involved in general banking and other areas were instrumental in the completion of this report, which offers comprehensive and accurate information regarding my internship activities. Dhaka Bank Limited commenced operations on July 5, 1995, as a second-generation private bank. Throughout its journey, the bank has successfully realized the aspirations of its founders. Today, it stands as one of the foremost banks in the private sector, making a substantial contribution to the national economy. The bank's headquarters is situated in Naya Paltan, Dhaka, and it currently operates 100 branches along with three SME service centers across the country, continuously striving for excellence in service through its diverse products and offerings. General banking serves as the foundation for all banking operations. The internship report is a requisite component of my degree program. As part of the internship, I was placed at the Karwan Bazar Branch of Dhaka Bank Limited. Over the course of the three-month internship, I gained valuable insights into the operations of commercial banks. This report delves into the activities of Dhaka Bank at the Karwan Bazar Branch, highlighting its role as a leading non-governmental organization. It encompasses information regarding all commercial activities undertaken by the bank, with a primary focus on the General Banking system of Dhaka Bank Limited. The general banking operations include all routine activities conducted by the bank. In this report, I have elaborated on various types of account holders and account types, such as Savings Accounts, Current Accounts, Fixed Deposit Rates (FDR), Pension Saving Schemes (PSS), and other existing accounts, along with their respective rates and the various activities associated with General Banking.

    Retail Banking, product and performances of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited

    On April 1st, 2001, Shahjalal Islami Bank became a public limited company under the Companies Act of 1994, embarking on a path to fulfill its vision and goal. Success, according to SJIBL, hinges on the capacity to continuously meet every evolving client preference. I have included every significant facet of my internship job experience in my report. I worked on SJIBL's general banking division. This study's primary goal is to provide a concise overview of SJIBL's general banking operations, customer satisfaction, deposit and savings products, and retail loan products. It also aims to describe my roles and responsibilities during these three months at Shahjalal Islami Bank. It concludes with a study of a handful of the services offered by Shahjalal Islami Bank's general banking division, which provides insight into the division's level of success.

    General banking activities of Bank Asia Limited: a study on MCB Banani Branch

    The banking sector is consistently regarded as one of the most essential parts to the economy's ability to function. A few businesspeople in Bangladesh started private commercial banks as a result of the need for better banking services compared to public banks. Following in the footsteps of the first generation of commercial banks, Bangladesh presently has 58 public and private commercial banks. Comparing Commercial Banks to other service-oriented organizations, their impact on the development of our economy is greater. Already, a significant section of our banking industry is occupied by private commercial banks. This report is based on the General Banking Department of Bank Asia Limited. The General Banking department handles activities related to accounts, cash, bills and clearing, remittance, and pay order. This department is also crucial as it provides customers’ high-quality service. The hardest and most vital department at a bank is cash handling. This part establishes the link between the bank and the customer, collects the customer's bills, and transfers the customer's funds from one bank to another.

    Activities of a transaction service officer at IFIC Bank Limited

    International Finance Investment and Commerce Bank Limited (IFIC Bank) is one of the most renowned private commercial banks in Bangladesh. It has finished 45 years of outstanding service in Bangladesh's banking industry. Through more than 746 contemporary business centers (Branches and Sub branches), the bank ensures cutting-edge service with qualified staff and groundbreaking fintech assistance. It has expanded its worldwide business footprint through joint ventures and subsidiaries in Nepal, Oman, and the United Kingdom. This report is written to fulfill the partial requirement for the MBA program at BRAC University. This curriculum has been intended to provide students with fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge in the context of employment activities. This study aims to provide a brief overview of IFIC Bank Ltd and the role of a transaction service officer at the bank. Some findings from my experience at IFIC bank are discussed and relevant recommendations are given. The report is divided into three different chapters. First one is an introductory chapter where the background, objectives, methodology, scopes, limitations and recommendations were discussed. Second one is a brief discussion regarding the company profile with SWOT analysis and the last one is about my experience, learning, findings and analysis, recommendation and conclusion

    General banking activities of Janata Bank PLC

    The banking industry is the foundation of the organized financial system in Bangladesh today. By meeting people's varied financial demands, banks have developed into the most reputable financial institutions globally. Ensuring maximum customer happiness is the fundamental goal of any financial institution. As a result, there are usually low expectations for the quality of Janata Bank PLC's services. Throughout this assignment, I was fortunate enough to receive insightful knowledge from the bank's hardworking staff. Janata Bank PLC is a well-known commercial bank with 923 strategically placed branches throughout Bangladesh's commercial zones. Through Exchange Houses and a large number of foreign correspondents, it also expands its reach throughout the world. On May 17, 2007, the bank became a Public Limited Company. Five chapters make up this report. My 12-week internship at the Shyamoli Corporate Branch served as the basis for the general banking operations reported in this report. From where I have gathered the important physician connected to the bank and its overall banking operations. Each bank has pursued its own particular approach to stand apart. The success of this bank is highlighted in the study, which also examines its operations as one of the top government enterprises. The report is divided into six chapters. An outline of the report's introduction, including its purpose, how it was started, and Janata Bank's history, can be found in the first chapter. The report's overview of the bank was covered in chapter two, while Janata Bank PLC's entire general banking process was covered in chapter three. Chapter 4 then includes a partial discussion of my experiences throughout this internship. I have brought my report to a close with the conclusions, results, and recommendations in chapter 6.

AIBL offered in a wide range of banking and additionally cover operational functions to their clients. The research report highly focuses on the “Service Quality Evaluation of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited”. I tried to relate to services and products that are presented by the bank to its clients in this report. It also covers the series of these offerings, associated faults and recommendations for overcoming. Quality assessments are used for numerous exclusive functions. These are helped to bank constantly observing and enhancing the customer service quality. I tried to assess AIBL’s service quality for giving suggestions to concern discovering new technique to fix significant issues in this research paper. It is essential for completing my internship program. Because it is considered as an educational program and it is very essential to complete my MBA program. It is the most important part to complete my internship program within the duration of 3 months in Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited, Mymensingh Branch. I acquired the real-world experience through this segment of my MBA. I worked in two diverse sections together General Banking and in Foreign Exchange Division at AIBL. I operated at General Banking Section more than foreign exchange division. I collected data in two types of modes, primary and secondary. In this report, I tried to asses customer service quality of AIBL with the help of SERVQUAL methods.

    Over the past 26 years, Dhaka Bank Limited has changed the scope of its management by opening new branches in various important regions of the country, offering a variety of services, and striving to ensure excellent money management. This bank has been approved in all directions by the Bank of Bangladesh. It is inspected and verified by Bangladesh Bank. This document focuses on the general management of the cash branches of Dhaka Bank Limited. General bank manager Account opening, locker benefits, FDR, customer accounts, shanchaypatra, installments, DPS, universal savings are some of the key management ways. Unlike these major administrations, this bank provides a kind of governance that needs to be managed over the long term. First, let me give you a small diagram of the bank. The second part will talk about general account management and cover all the parts and obligations the bank has done, some basic concepts. The last chapter is the conclusion part.

    General banking and digitalization through the lenses of customer

    "The report investigates the impact of general banking also digital banking of Dhaka Bank limited. This report provides insights into the customer preferences and needs of Dhaka Bank Limited (DBL). The majority of DBL customers are male, aged 20 to mid-30s, living in Banani, and prefer DBL for deposit and withdraw services. Customers are satisfied with employee behavior but unhappy with interest rates. They highly value DBL's online transaction and app offerings, but some report difficulty navigating the digital platform. Overall, customers recommend DBL for easy customer service and good banking policies but suggest improvements such as faster loan processing and technological advancements. The bank's success is attributed to customer satisfaction and several technological advancements. The work environment is supportive of women, and there is no discrimination. Based on the findings, the report recommends increasing ATM, increase customer service for their satisfaction. The bank can use this information to improve customer satisfaction further and meet customer preferences, especially in empathy and responsiveness dimensions."

    This paper details my internship experience at Mutual Trust Bank Limited's Gulshan -1 Branch. I've always attempted to please all of the members of that branch with my efforts, and I've included it in my report as well. I've also included an overview of Mutual Trust Bank Limited, including all of the bank's divisions, as well as a sense of how they operate. I am confident that my internship will have a significant impact on my future professional life because I have gained real-world office experience here. I've also attempted to make my internship term as fruitful as possible in order to develop my working skills. During this time, I am always on the lookout for new tasks at work, and I have a strong desire to learn, which I tried to convey in the report. This report is primarily based on the experience I gained throughout my internship, which spanned three months. I am hoping that this internship program will be really beneficial in my professional life.

Learning & Development Division of BRAC Bank mainly works for the development of the employees’ work performance. The report also focuses on the training and development practice in BRAC Bank. The report is divided into five chapters. The first chapter of the report covers the introductory part of the report. Then the second chapter focuses on the organization’s overview, the third chapter covers the whole training and development practice of BRAC Bank along with the functions of Learning and Development Division of BRAC Bank. The fourth chapter is about my internship experience and the last chapter of the report covers the findings, recommendations and also the conclusion part. At the end of the report, references that are used to prepare this report are included.
