NextGen International Coding and Engineering (NICE) School and College

This report will give an overview of my experience of the current situation of English language teaching in a Bangladeshi English medium school. I chose NextGen International Coding and Engineering (NICE) School and College for completing my internship. There is an overview on teaching techniques such as lesson plan, teaching style, assessment, learning style, class observation, feedback and evaluation. This report also purposes bringing out the methods the teachers use in the classes besides teaching techniques. This report will also give some modifications and recommended by the intern in order to enhance English language teaching at school level. To conclude, this study provides some recommendations based on the overall findings of the intern which can help in figuring out strengths, weaknesses, performance, academic curriculum, opportunities, facilities of the observed teachers, and the institution.
My Experience as a Cadet at Biman Bangladesh Airlines

Present condition of teaching & learning English in South Point School and College

The report was an attempt to know the present condition of English Language Teaching in a Bangladeshi school is the basis of my internship report. I have finished my internship from South Point School and College. I have submitted my forwarding letter to the principal of the South Point School and College, Lt. Col Sheikh Amzad Hossain (Retired). I choose to prepare myself on certain different levels based on the elements that need to be adapted in teaching practice such as lesson plan, teaching style, evaluation and feedback that I learned from the course English Language Teaching (ELT). It was a new experience for me and I enjoyed it very much.

The internship report is focused on “The Present Scenario of English Language Teaching in Bangladeshi Schools “. To complete the study, I have selected a prominent school to observe and conduct two classes. All the data are collected from observation of two different classes conducted by two different English teachers of the selected school. For preparing the lesson plan, co- operation was taken from the English teachers of different classes. After my observation and collection of necessary information regarding the topic, two classes have been conducted by me with the help of the teachers, students, staffs and the head of the institute. The classes were IX and VII. Overall, the school authority and my respected supervisor were very helpful. It was very exciting and creative for me while accomplishing the internship report.
Teaching Practices” at Anwara Model High School

In my BA program internship is mandatory for a course called Project Paper with Internship and I accepted this challenge. For this, I selected Anwara Model High School to get the necessary information, experience and education about the current scenario of English language teaching. To collect the necessary data, first I visited the school and observed two classes of two teachers and later I conducted eight classes in different sections and observed & enhanced my teaching skills. Because I was told, to found the current scenario of ELT in a Bangladeshi school. For which I have to do all these activities. English is not our native language but the importance of this language is very high in all countries including ours. Because this language is a common language through which the people of one country can communicate with the people of another country even if they do not know other. That is why the importance of English language in the job sector is immense. When I was observing the classes, I saw that the teachers did not give much importance to the usage of English language, took it only for academic purposes and used the language very little in the class, as much as there was English in the lesson. I noticed they have projector but they are not using it. Students were talking informally in class. Environment of the classroom was very dirty. However, the teacher should pay a little more attention to what and how he teaches in the class and have to use more English language in the class otherwise the students will not understand the importance of English language and will not be able to learn well. In class, students should be taught manners, that, how to talk to a teacher, and should use technology as much as possible. The environment of the class room should fix, because if the environment of the class is not good and clean, it could be harmful for their health and also students could not pay attention in the class. From this project not only the intern performer will be benefited, but also it may bring desirable recommendations for forming an amazing learning environment.
The Present Scenario of English Language Teaching in a Bangladeshi School

The main goal of this paper is to notice the general English teaching circumstances in the schools in Bangladesh. The report covers the current acts of English language teaching in terms of the use of various strategies. It discovers which strategies are being followed for English Language teaching in Bangladesh. It shows the benefits of the intellectual capacity of the students and which technique is suitable for Bangladeshi students. After the observation of two classes by class teacher and my conduction of two classes, different issues are found like the inadequacy in the language facilitator in maintaining teaching techniques in the classrooms and lack of required facilities. This paper argues that students are detached from their real motivation behind learning the English language. This paper suggests some positive suggestions required to enhance English Language Teaching.
Internship Experience at Social Islami Bank Limited

It also serves as a useful bridge between theory and practice throughout the program. I've been given the chance to finish my internship at Social Islami Bank Limited. During my internship, I learned about a variety of banking operations and functions. The main aim of this report is to convey my experience as an intern at Social Islami Bank Limited. I also learn about the activities of SIBL. To write this report, I used both primary and secondary data. The report's introduction, background, and methodology are all covered in the first section. Information on SIBL's banking overview and functions is provided in the second section of the report. The final section of this report, which also focuses on my internship experiences, tasks and responsibilities, observations, and academic learnings, highlights the SWOT analysis, recommendations, limitations, and conclusion. So, I can claim that I did my best to complete this report writing following the guidelines. This report serves as proof of my internship program.

My internship at ‘Baligaon High School’ on ‘The Present Scenario of English Language Teaching in Bangladeshi Schools' was accomplished through my observation of three distinct English classes taught by three different teachers and my conduction of five classes. This project paper report contains information on the entire procedure's experiences. The project paper has been created to observe and analyze the way English is taught in our country by getting a glimpse of the current education system. Many people fail in using this language properly while reading, writing and speaking even though they understand English correctly. It can cause a serious problem if the maximum young people of Bangladesh fail to apply English properly in practical fields.That is why, more project paper researches should be created so that it becomes easy to find out the strengths and weaknesses of the facilitators of English in Bangladesh and focus on the main issues that can be brought into light. During my observation, close attention had to be paid to the classes to understand the teacher’s attitudes, teaching styles, classroom environments, students’ interactions and most importantly, the chemistry between the teachers and the students. Throughout my classes, a variety of teaching strategies were used by me including implementation of different methods of teaching and preparing lessons learnt from class observation and English Language Teaching (ELT) course. From a personal point of view, English Language teaching scenario will rise up to the most wanted standard in Bangladesh if the findings from the project paper are applied properly and practically as this project paper contains many suggestions and expectations. Appropriate methods should be followed for this generation to teach them English effectively.
Teaching Experience at Shahid Cadet School and College

The report was an attempt to know the current condition of English language teaching in an English version school in my area Joydebpur, Gazipur named Shahid School and College. I prepared myself in a variety of ways based on the elements to be perceived in teaching practice, such as class observation, assessment, lesson plan, teaching style, evaluation, and feedback, which I learned from the Course ELT( English Language Teaching).The goal of this report was not only to understand the current school situation in terms of English language teaching, but also to observe the teaching methods And to see which teaching methods by applying the students can understand their lessons very quickly. Also aimed to improve their target language teaching, grammar, speaking skill at the school level. Based on the findings and general observation, the study has offered some recommendations that might be useful for aspiring Teacher like me.

In this report, it contains my five class observation, Teaching experiences of 3 months with learnings and my opinions regarding my understanding through the whole internship journey. Also how I got to improve my skills and gather more knowledge and experience or practical field is in it. For this internship, I had chosen Gazirchat A.M High School and College. From the journey a experienced that a private or kindergarten school is different from government school I got. The teachers and Principal helped me a lot during the internship. The supervisor had guide me to accomplish this report properly. Also grateful to Daffodil International University for this noble thought of students should get knowledge of work field before completing studies. Academic result is important also with the potential energy of working as an internship. This report is about a whole journey, from my decision taking, institution selection, starting of work, experience of first class also of all class conduction to observation. Institution details have been provided, Teaching experience with all the class conduction of 3 months in detailed are given. Overall findings which I have experienced and expected is shared. Even it’s known that, this institution don’t need my recommendation but still have given an honest opinion regarding some changes should be focused. At the end of this report the pictures some of my work, class management, exam hall maintaining, PT period, excel spreadsheet of 3 months documents and the certificate of my Internship’s institution is also given. This report also contains the teaching methods, techniques and experiment. Learning as Intern was very interesting to me, also felt the limitation of study, no matter how much I tried but I was bound to obey some rules and regulations of that particular institution. Lastly, truly glad to do such work and thankful to everyone whoever is connected to this internship.
An Analysis of General Banking Activities of Rupali Bank Limited: A Study on Hatirpool Corporate Branch, Dhaka

To do this activity, first they have to collect money from depositors and give it to the investors as a loan. Universal trade, money exchange, collection, and other bill activities. My Professional Development as an English Language Teacher at Hazi Kiam Uddin High School

This report is based on the experience that I gathered during my internship at the HKHS (pseudonym) and focuses on a self-evaluation of my teaching. I had high expectations for bringing out the best in the students and always tried to motivate the students. There was a mix of different kinds of students. I tried to establish a good teacher-student relationship and understand each student treating them individually and making a proper assessment. I always tried to maintain professionalism and a good relationship with colleagues. In this paper, I also mentioned reflective practice, the qualities of a good and effective teacher, Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), task-based teaching, selecting the best method for teaching, and some challenges of teaching in the Bangladeshi context. I always tried to make progress by using different methods depending on the context. This paper also includes various problems and obstacles that I had during my internship and how did I overcome those to ensure a good and safe learning environment. Here, I described what I learned from this journey and how I can use this experience in my future teaching. I also gave recommendations that should be implemented to make the learning process better and more effective.

I also focused during time the strategies or methods of teaching were used or not. In that case, Students could not explore their self-assessment in the education of secondary school.

The banking sector in our country has changed as a result of the substantial changes that have taken place throughout the world. The market environment now requires banks to compete with both domestic and foreign organizations. NCC bank is one of the prestigious private Bank in Bangladesh and has its operation all over Dhaka city and in some major cities in Bangladesh. It is essential to the growth of the commercial sector. This bank is expanding in a very positive way. Its mission statement is to give customers rapid, efficient service. After the Pandemic they have also developed their online Banking system for customer convenience which has made it simpler to offer customers fast services. Banking opportunities for corporations, large finance for projects, retail banking for retailers, small And medium business finance, consumer finance, and syndication are the bank’s main business lines. Cash management services are among the variety of services it provides. Payments and clearings, services for safe deposit boxes, employee benefits, and services for collections. Asset management, treasury services, and international trade (Michael, 2000). I got the opportunity to work as in intern in NCC Bank and this will provide me with experiences that will be helpful for me in future. I think it is a great opportunity to learn and I have utilized this opportunity as much as possible. Throughout my internship program o tried to gather knowledge and build communication skills.
Training and Recruitment of the Workers at Debonair Group Ltd, Unit-2

In a developing country like Bangladesh, garment factories play a significant role. According to 2021, there are 5,000 readymade garments in Bangladesh. Currently, garment factories are a very important source of foreign exchange. In the past few years, the economy of Bangladesh mainly was dependent on the garment sector. Bangladesh has about 4 million garment workers, of which 58% are women. Nowadays, women are given many opportunities in garments. Bangladesh garment industry is also playing a very important role in economically uplifting a large group of unskilled, uneducated, and underprivileged women. Apart from this, the garment industry is the best solution for uneducated and poor people to work and earn. My goal was to learn about the garment industry and later try to flourish in this industry. I chose The Debonair group among the many garments available in Bangladesh. It is located in Gazipur. This industry started its journey in 1991. It is a private company that specializes in high-quality outwear and homeware products. This company gave me the opportunity to learn about their rules, regulations, and garment worker's law. My internship began on August 22, 2022. I worked with them for 3 months and went there 3days a week 10 to 4. At the Debonair Group, I had specific job duties and responsibilities in HR. But the study's scope was not limited to the HR department; I also visited many departments such as IT, Accounts, Merchandising, Store, and Audit. In Debonair Group, I took the opportunity to learn and worked with sincerity. I finished my three-month internship by broadening my knowledge of a specific field of work. The knowledge and skills will help me get good opportunities in a garment factory and flourish there.

I have tried to mention in detail what I have learned during these 3 months of internship period at Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited, Manda Branch. Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited is a private bank and It has 201 branches. AIBL banking system is based on the principles of Islamic Shariah and law which is guided by Islamic economics. This internship report has been prepared as a requirement of the undergraduate program, BA (Hons) English at DIU. The report is based upon Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited. The Internship program is very important for my graduation. The internship period has undoubtedly boosted my knowledge of Bangladesh's banking sector and the different services AIBL offers as the country's top financial institution. This financial organization taught me how to balance with the wide corporate world and communicate with all types of clients. I have experienced a very friendly and supporting environment at Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited, which gave me the pleasure and satisfaction to be a part of them. While working in general banking departments of Manda branch I have found each and every employee too friendly to us to cooperate. They have discussed in details about their plans and tasks. I have also participated with their tasks. It was massive experience to work in the banking sector and it has enhanced both my knowledge and experience. I believe that these three months experience have made me confident enough to work in any reputable field. While preparing the report, I tried my best to collect as much information and data as possible to enrich the report.
English Language Teaching at Farid Uddin Siddiky High School

It presents the details of three months of teaching experience by the intern. It also holds modifications and recommendations which are given by the intern to mark up English language teaching at the school level. In fine, this study provides a clear image of strengths and weaknesses in English language teaching at an MPO school and holds some findings along with recommendations to sort out the problems which can be useful for enthusiastic teachers and the institution as well.
