Abstract

Concrete is one of the most widely used construction materials worldwide, however its environmental impression, especially concerning of carbon emissions, has prodded a search for additional sustainable alternatives. This study investigates the capability of nylon-reinforced concrete beams as an economical answer for construction. In tension, concrete is frequently weaker than in compression. To expanded the tensile strength of cement, fibers are added. Nylon fibers (NF) have shown significant increases in concrete performance. The vital parts of this Nylon fiber (NF) concrete flowability, compressive strength, tensile strength, impact strength, rehabilitation, performance during irradiation, and fire resistance. In addition, the article examines the fracture behavior and failure patterns of nylon FRC. The outcomes show that NF upgraded concrete performance, notably tensile capacity, owing to bridging mechanisms, but lowered concrete flow properties. However, some analyst demonstrates that NF does not improved the compressive capacity significantly.
