HabiburRespiratory disease is the leading cause of death. Importantly, it remains the foremost cause of preventable death globally. The rise in respiratory diseases in Bangladesh is due to increasing air pollution.In Bangladesh, respiratory tract infection like pneumonia is responsible for the deaths of children under five years of age. Others are like bronchitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis and also in common cold cases antibiotics are more frequently prescribed for respiratory tract infectious diseases. The main objective of this survey was to analyze the prescribed group & generic of antibiotics that are use for respiratory tract infection diseases in Bangladesh.This study carried out at the outdoor of Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master General Hospital, Tongi, Gazipur from June, 2019 to August, 2019 and finally 200 prescriptions (135 were male, 30 were female & 35 children‟s) selected from 235 that were completely respiratory tract disease drugs content which were prescribed by specialist and general physician. Statistical analysis reveals that Cephalosporin ( Cefixime Trihydrate 34 %, Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid 6.5 %, Cefuroxim Axetil 3 %, Cefuroxim Axetil + Clavulanic Acid 18.5 % ) antibiotic are prescribed mostly than other class of drugs. Changes in patterns of respiratory tract disease management and drug use are changing day by day. Azithromycin 22 %, clarithromycin 5.5 %, levofloxacin 8 %, moxifloxacin 2.5 % drugs are also prescribed prominently. Further research and awareness program should be done in this area to decrease risk factors for respiratory tract disease. The study urges the physician to be more professional and careful when antibiotic is prescribed for the outpatients.Item An Insight Survey of Anti-ulcer Drugs Prescribing Trends and Market Analysis in Bangladesh(Daffodil International University, 18-06-07) Siddique, Md. YeasinGastrointestinal disorder is very common in our country, if we make a survey with prescriptions we can see a huge portion of total prescriptions contain one or several anti-ulcer drugs. However it is not always prescribed for GI disorder but also in the protective purposes. Data on such an important and so used drug group should be useful in many purposes. From that sense this project was chosen and conducted, by the grace of Allah it was completed without any complications. The goal of this study is to determine which generic names are preferred by doctors in Dhaka City and Bangladesh while prescribing anti-ulcer medications. The doctors and patients of Dhaka City were personally interviewed for a questionnaire-based field study, and the results were noted and prescriptions were gathered. The questionnaire asked about factors like the age range of patients who received anti-ulcer medicine prescriptions, the cause of the preference, and the preference for pediatric, geriatric, and pregnant patients. Esomeprazole was the preferred drug overall (32.3% of all prescriptions), but for pregnant women, pantoprazole was chosen (40.3%). The poll received a fair response rate. The survey discovered that most doctors do not favor anti-ulcer medications for pediatric patients or geriatric patients in particular. The most important criteria to consider while selecting a particular anti-ulcer medicine were efficacy and safety. This Survey analyses the knowledge of probiotics in students and market analysis of probiotics and probiotic product. The result suggested that 83% population are unknown to probiotics as well as the use of probiotics within people is least. Most of the shop keep it in but sell is less.Item Gender Identification from Smart Phone Usage Using Machine Learning Algorithm(Daffodil International University, 2019-12-06) Polin, Johora Akter; Khan, OmayerGender is the identity of an individual in the society. In biological definition it may seems different. Smartphone is like magic box for human. Long distance are connected in few seconds, critical tasks are become a cup of tea. World becomes a village where people are living together virtually. Smart phone is not just a helping hands, it contains person’s identity and behavior. This paper deals with the identity of gender by usage of smartphone. In this paper, we have analyzed 1284 data of male and female of a specific age group of people. We have proposed an experiment to recognize the person’s gender. Here we have compared 10 different algorithms to have a good accuracy rate of the outcome of the experiment. Our experiment will add a new feature to this digital world of smart phone. User can customize their phone as per need. So in this modern era no one need to be compromised. Smartphone industry may have a major change and benefited. We have extracted many feature through this experiments. It can bring revolution in the telecommunication industry. People get the best benefit from the smart phone when it will works as the way as the person want to use. People can have their own choice using the smartphone. Some by products are introduced that may have a major effect. When smartphone act as person’s need it will be the best use of smartphone and proceed to success in life for all. To develop a web application there are lots of programming languages that we can use in this. Lots of these can use to design only for frontend and backend design, for example: HTML3, HTML4, HTML5, CSS, BOOTSTRAP etc. There are lots of programming languages uses for develop software. For example: JAVA, PHP, Laravel Framework etc. For develop any web base application its very useful cause we can access it from any were of the world. It’s very important and useful for life and this is the reason I choose the subject of report is “Web UI Developer”. Working for TechTrix Technologies adds lots of experiences for my future. Practically solving problems was a big solution. This internship helps me to learn all details of Web design and development knowledge and gathered industrial knowledge. I have worked on several project during my internship period, its help me to gain hands on knowledge and I have implemented there.Item Review on Crotalaria L.(Daffodil International University, 2019-09-13) Akter, MoniraCrotalaria L. (Fabaceae) is one of the largest genus of Papilionoideae comprising of about 500 species. It comprises phytochemicals such as alkaloids, tannins, saponins, pyrrolidazone alkaloid, flavonoids etc. This review was performed to open a new way for the upliftment of medicinal uses of Crotalaria L. The phytochemical constituents and pharmacological activity of Crotalaria L., species including C. verrucosa, C. juncea, C. pallida, C. retusa and C. sessiliflora, focusing on potential therapeutics to detail their activities against many indications. Good medicinal value in the treatment of skin infection, fever and ulcer. Widely used in traditional veterinary pharmacy in preventing liver disease. Crotalaria some species are fallow as crops consumed by human being entirely the whole world. Crotalaria has highly nutritional value as rich source of β-carotene, which is a precursor of vitamin A. The foliage has high amounts of calcium, mineral, iron, thiamine, riboflavin, vit-B6, niacin and ascorbic acid, while the seeds and roots are considerably toxic. The pharmacological activities such as antibacterial, anti- inflammatory, thrombolytic, antipyretic, anti-diabetic, CNS depressant, antifertility etc. were evaluated using ager well diffusion, heat induced of protein denaturation and hemolysis, HRBC clot denaturation, yeast induced pyrexia, allowance induced type II hyperglycemia, hole cross and open field test and in-vitro method. This work may helpful to researcher for further study. This review was designed to highlight the actual chemical constituent and pharmacological activities of Crotalaria L.Item Vehicle Component Detection for Congestion Control using Image Processing and Machine Learning(Daffodil International University, 2019-12) Joy, Abu Zahid Md Jalal UddinTraffic control systems should cope with the ever increasing demand by determining the situation on the road network and by controlling traffic flows. Here, the system contains CCTV surveillance footage which captures video photography of road and transmits the footage to the server. These are mounted from the sides of roads. The system gets counted whenever any vehicle passes/come forward to the coverage area of camera on. In Adaptive Traffic Control System which receives information from vehicle such as type, components, position and speed and then it utilize to optimize the traffic signal. Microcontroller also store vehicles count in its memory was processed by yolov3 object classifier [2]. Based on different vehicles count, the microcontroller takes decision and updates the traffic light delays as a result. The traffic light is situated at a certain distance. Thus based on vehicle count, microcontroller defines different ranges for traffic light delays and updates those accordingly.Item Content Management System(Daffodil International University, 2019-12) Munawar, Md. Visitor can choose any category from menu bar, search news, share news and add a comment using social plugin. Admin is secondary actor in my project. Admin do the entire administrative work like add a category, editing a category, adding news and many more. Admin have to register first. Login page appears after registration. Admin provides login credentials to login to the admin panel.
