As a fresh starter of the whole new corporate world this experience has given me a wide range of knowledge about the world that I am about to step in. The report is about how the CRM department is divided, how it functions and how the work of this particular department is carried forward. As this is a Working Report, the report also gives an idea about the work I had to do in this three month period and the responsibilities that I had to perform as a team player. With careful supervision of the department my job was even made easier as I always had some personnel’s to help me out or train me in whichever step I got stuck. I also had the opportunity to work with every side of the department and gained huge experience. Some accounting courses in the BBA program was very helpful as I had to work on the balance sheet and income statement of certain companies. Working on the loan Product ‘Shompod’ was also very challenging as it’s a big responsibility to figure out which client should be permitted to avail the loan. Checking out the details of the clients and making sure that it’s a genuine client by looking at their past records and legal documents were also a part of the job. With very limited knowledge I tried my level best to make the report as understandable as possible and tried to put everything that I have done and experienced on this document.Item A WORKING REPORT & RESEARCH ON HR KITES(INDEPENDENT UNIVERSITY, BANGLADESH, 2012-05-01) Haque, Nadira AfsanaHuman resource management is a buzzword in today‟s business organization. This industry has successfully transformed Bangladesh into an export-oriented economy. The RMG industry also became the major foreign currency-earning sector with highest rates of absorption of industrial employment. Interestingly, women comprise more than 80 per cent of the total labour force and most of them could be otherwise destitute or empty handed. In a patriarchal society like Bangladesh, the RMG industry effectively challenged the traditional view of conflating domesticity with femininity by allowing women of low-income backgrounds to move from the household to the labour market. Garment trade is regarded as a leading driver of globalisation. Though garment workers gain much by working in the garment industry the informal nature of job and adverse working conditions often threaten the livelihood possibilities of workers. This study focuses on the labour rights implementation in Rupa Group Pvt. Ltd. It is assumed that labour rights safeguarded workers form negative consequences. It is also evident that labour rights increase labour productivity. Theoretically there are opportunities to establish labour rights within this organization but in practice the picture is simply unsatisfactory. The recent labour unrest in Bangladesh is the outcome of longstanding violation of labour rights in the organizations like this. Labour rights can be ensured if Bangladesh Government can formulate and implement a comprehensive and effective labour law that incorporates labour rights in the RMG industry. The existing business model favoured headquartered interests and largely overlooks labourers‟ interests especially in developing countries. The organizations such as ILO, WTO, which are supposed to protect labourers from insecurity, vulnerability and injustice, are somehow problematic in relation to the implementation of labour rights in Least Developed countries such as Bangladesh which came into this very business by dint of its cheaper labour. The RMG industry is the lifeline of Bangladesh economy and it has the potentialities to reduce poverty to a large extent by gaining increasing share in the world apparel market. Implementation of labour rights can ensure sustainable livelihood of the garment workers, which in turn enhances sustainability of the RMG industry.Item A WORKING REPORT ON SME BANKING AND CREDIT RISK GRADING SYSTEM OF AB BANK LIMITED(Independent University, Bangladesh, 2009-12-24) Rana, Md.MasudBank is an important financial intermediary in the economy. Unlike traditional volume-based approaches, ABC concepts guide managers in seeking the best strategies to pursue in the future. This product costing method can be a valuable tool in planning and managing costs not only in the manufacturing area, but also in all aspects of business operations, from product design to distribution. Although its main advantage is its ability to provide more realistic product cost information for financial reporting purposes, use of ABC can lead to a better understanding of the strategic linkages existing between the various cost areas in the organization. It enables managers to have a holistic view of cost management. While conducting my research paper on “Activity Based Costing-as a tool of Cost Control & Improved Profitability” at The ACME Laboratories Ltd.”, I have tried to diagnose the problems persistent with existing costing system and subsequently sought the consequence after implementing more forward looking costing approach which is Activity Based Costing (ABC). I had thorough research on how ABC costing control the cost and thus improve profitability on a manufacturing setting. Acme Laboratories Ltd is one of the biggest pharmaceutical products manufacturing company. Therefore, I chose Acme Laboratories Ltd, where the costs segments are easily separable and the impact of ABC costing method on profitability is firmly realizable. The research came into the findings that when the ABC system was mplemented the percentage of controlling employees’ time devoted to data gathering decreased and the percentage of time devoted to analytical activities in aid of raising the value of the enterprise increased. Studying the statistical analysis, and other financial ratio analysis, it can be confirmed that The ACME Laboratories Ltd have progressed well especially in its internal system development and with better-cost control. While using the modern method, we have found that application of Activity based costing ensure true cost allocation using relevant cost drivers, which effectively facilitate product based decision making as well as over all cost awareness.
