    A Decision Making Approach for Selecting an Event Management Company

    Understanding the goals with planning, designing, conceptualization and co-ordination an event management company plays a vital role and ends this process with proper execution. But nowadays many clients are facing more and more demanding and competitive market where taking decisions are completely tough. For this reason it is much more difficult for a client to find the best company when we have so many alternatives. For that purpose, available decision making methods are studied which may aid the decision makers to set the priorities and help them to make the best decision. The decision-making process involves a choice from a number of alternatives. This process is usually a complex process, which involves resources and time consumption. In this paper, we have considered five important attributes among three different companies as alternatives which is regarded as a multi criteria decision making problem for selecting an Event Management Company. In this study, a decision support framework is proposed for the selection of Event Management Company and ranking them using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and Generic Feature Extraction Method. This paper provides all the detailed information about the decision making process to aid the decision makers. Here all the relative importance of alternatives has been calculated by using AHP. The ultimate decision is prepared based on the arithmetical scores seized by the alternatives and to demonstrate all the things is presented on the proposed methodology

    Diagnosis of Brucellosis at Satkania, Chattogram

    Brucellosis is a zoonotic disease of great animal welfare and economic implications worldwide known since ancient times. The emergence of brucellosis in new areas as well as transmission of brucellosis from wild and domestic animals is of great significance in terms of new epidemiological dimensions. Brucellosis poses a major public health threat by the consumption of non-pasteurized milk and milk products produced by unhygienic dairy farms. Regular and meticulous surveillance is essentially required to determine the true picture of brucellosis especially in areas with continuous high prevalence. Additionally, international migration of humans, animals and trade of animal products has created a challenge for disease spread and diagnosis in non-endemic areas. Isolation and identification remains the gold standard test, which requires expertise. The advancement in diagnostic strategies coupled with screening of newly introduced animals is warranted to control the disease. One Health approach can aid in control of this disease, both in animals and man. Several serological tests, viz., RBPT, standard tube agglutination test (SAT), immune capture agglutination, CFT, milk ring, Coombs test, ELISA and lateral flow assay (LFA) are frequently employed to diagnose brucellosis.

    Preparation of Lactoferrin from a Tuberculosis free cow’s Colostrum

    COVID-19 is considered an ongoing international global health problem which already caused 219 million confirmed cases. No specific effective treatment has been identified so far, and available supportive therapies are intended just tosevere patients. Asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic patients remain a transmission reservoir, with possible evolution to the most severe disease form, without a clear treatment indication. Lactoferrin is an iron binding protein. Its main function is non immune protection. The main objective is to establish a standard protocol for isolation of lactoferrin. We have collected colostrum from a tuberculosis free cow. Then, we have performed SPC (Standard plate count) to check microbial load of colostrum. After extraction of lactoferrin, we have performed nanodrop technology for biochemical analysis of lactoferrin, which was 634.554mg/ml in colostrum.
