This case study focuses on employee retention determinants in Quantigo AI, a prominent employee of AI training data annotation services based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Quantigo AI is a competitor within a competitive, technology-driven industry, and thus employs the services of skilled annotators and project teams to provide high-quality and scalable solutions to global clients in industries such as autonomous vehicles, retail, agriculture, and healthcare. The research question will be the role of leadership style, pay systems, human resource practices, employee engagement, work environment, and retention during periods of work stress, workload pressures, and swift technological changes. The mixed-methods research design containing the analysis of company documents, interviews with managers and employees, and considering HR planning, training programs, and recognition initiatives adds to the investigation, correspondingly showing that the transformational and inclusive leadership approach of Quantigo AI enables innovation and accountability, whereas strong HR planning, training programs, and recognition initiatives increase job satisfaction and loyalty. Competitiveness, open performance reviews, and supportive culture further reduce the risks to turnover, but better ways to balance work and life and a clear career path can be offered. The main results provide a high similarity between the organizational practices and the outcomes of retention, which allow saving costs, retaining knowledge and remaining competitive. It would be recommended to have individual development strategies, enhanced feedback, and wellness programs. This paper presents practical recommendations that Quantigo AI can use to enhance its workforce stability and a paradigm that other AI companies can follow in managing talent retention in markets with high energy.
