Design of Denim Jacket for Mannequin of Apparel Lab

Abstract

In the Final Year Design Project, we develop a jacket for the mannequin of our apparel manufacturing lab. To develop the jacket first of all we design the jacket by studying the jacket design of different brand around the world. Then we made a draft design. To make the design we face different difficulties like- we are not professional designer, so we took help from a professional designer to create pattern of the draft design. Then we choose fabric, trimmings & accessories. After that we source the fabric, trimmings & accessories. To source the fabric, trimmings & accessories we took help of our senior brothers from different supplier. After that we did the sewing in the factory in which I am working. Then we also wash and finished the fabric in the factory. We found different difficulties in developing the jacket but by the grace of almighty and with the help of different industrialist person & our supervisor we have managed to overcome all the problems. At the end we managed to develop a jacket of mannequin.
