Sub-Editor of the Asian Age

Abstract

This report is about my internship period as a sub editor at a prominent English online news portal dailyasianage.com. It consists of my experience, observations and all the things I have learned during this ten-week period. It has the information about the organization, Its structure and the people behind it. It also has information about my industrial supervisor, weekly activities as a subeditor, Connection between work and academic learning, Tools and technologies used, and the skills I have gathered in this time. The differences and similarities between academic and practical work are also stated here. Along with other things I have also done a SWOT analysis of dailyasianage.com describing the strengths and weaknesses with also the threats and opportunities it has.
