dc.description.abstractAn experiment was conducted at the farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during the period from October 2010 to March 2011. The experiment consisted of two factors, Factor A four levels of organic manure, O 0 : Control 1 : Cowdung : Poultry litter 3 2 : Vermicompost 1 =1 st sowing 2 =2 nd sowing 3 = 3 rd sowing 1 . For sowing time, maximum plant height . In case of combined effect highest yield 2 O 1 and lowest 1 O . So, it can be concluded that, 20 t/ha cowdung with 15th November sowing was best for carrot cultivation
