Abstract
The experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of sowing time and

the growth and yield of French bean (IJARI Zhar Sheern-!) at the
Ilimi of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. Dhaka during the period of
November. 2006 to March, 2007. The experiment included two Ihetors: Factor
A: Four sowing time (T

135 kg N/ha). The experiment was laid
out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. In
case of sowing time. T

of economic analysis the highest net return (TK. 1,70,023 /lla) and the highest
benefit cost ratio (2.7) were obtained lioni the treatment combination of T

It may be concluded that 15 November sowing with 90 kg N/ha is best for
growth and yield of french bean.
