Abstract

A research was conducted by using fourty four advanced populations ofBrassica napus and grown in the experimental farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka to study the genetic variability, heritability, correlation and path coefficient analysis during November 2017 to February 2018. Analysis of variance revealed significant variations among the genotypes for all the traits studied. For most of the character the genotypes were found significantly variable. Phenotypic variances were comparatively higher than the genotypic variances for all the studied characters. PCV were higher than the GCV for all the characters studied. Plant height 5
