The film industry of Bangladesh has seen major changes over the past years. From making state of the art films to making remakes of Bollywood movies, the filmmaking process has changed drastically changed. Some of the reasons being lack of proper training, resources and facilities that facilitates the process of film making. Once Bangladeshi films were known for portraying contents depicting the rural aspects and war events of this country. However as time progressed the contents of the film deteriorated and became more of a rip off the Indian Bollywood movies. Cinema halls started closing down due to lack of audiences. The revenue generation of the film industry started to decline. Development of institutions that facilitates the process of filmmaking can bring about major changes to revive the film industry. An institution where film makers, film enthusiasts and general public can learn and experience the process of filmmaking. This type of intervention will create trained filmmakers and also create employment opportunities in the film industry.
