Abstract

In this study, we designed a six stories Residential building Considering all Forces. The objective of this study to design and detailing (column, beam, slab). The basic methodology adopted here is the sequential presentation of design all force of six storied building for earthquake and wind effect by UBC1994, BNBC and ACI code 318-99 code proposed places in Bangladesh. Analysis has been performed with ETABS. A residential building with a reinforced concrete frame with six floors was applied to perform its intended purpose while also catering to the needs and comfort of the residents. To accomplish the architectural design, we used AutoCAD tools and ETABS to design and evaluate the building's structure. The structural planning and design process involve not only imagination and intellectual thinking, but also a thorough understanding of structural engineering science, as well as practical knowledge of modern design codes and bye-laws, backed up by ample experience, intuition, and judgment. The goal of standards is to ensure and improve safety while maintaining a careful balance between cost and safety. Using an excel application, the moments in slabs were calculated using method two with approximation to factors and loads in beams with moments and design portion and reinforcement. This program is more effective for analyzing the two-way slab by combining a few factors relating to slab type, beam and column dimensions, and the expected applied load. Finally, we organized the findings into architectural and structural maps for this structure.
