The Bangladesh Water Development Board has suggested the establishment of the International Water Resource Management and Research Institute in Mostul, Dhaka, to overcome the pressing issues surrounding water resource management. This institution will act as a center for cutting-edge research, education, and policy development as Bangladesh deals with growing concerns from climate change, erosion of rivers, seasonal floods, and water scarcity. Contextual zoning, sustainability-focused infrastructure, and climate-responsive architecture techniques are all incorporated into the project. To foster creativity and information exchange in hydrology and water science, essential elements include labs, academic and research spaces, residence halls, and recreational facilities.
