Abstract

This paper explores the unique characteristics of a coastal island which is situated at the southern part of Bangladesh, highlighting its potential demanding land as a sustainable tourism center. Its rich biodiversity, unique ecological features, and flat terrain make this silent island into a potential spot for eco-tourism. Every year people eagerly visit this beautiful island for its immense charm, cultural appeal and peaceful environment. The proposed tourism center eco resort connects the nature and comfort of victors with environmental peacefulness. People come to this place for its key attractions like flora and fauna, spotted deer, migratory birds, mangrove and sea beach. Locally available resources demand this resort to be built with sustainable strategies and ecofriendly material which is easily found in this island. This tourism project not only enhances the local economy but also has a positive impact on the long-term sustainability of the natural island's resources. People can connect themselves with nature, refresh their mind and can find peace and tranquility on this beautiful island.
