Activities of an English Teacher at Khan Bahadur Awlad Hossain Khan High School

Abstract

I did an internship for three months from Khan Bahadur Awlad Hossain Khan High School and have gained a lot of experience. At first this journey was very difficult for me. Firstly, I choose this school for internship and talk to the Headteacher of the school. He allowed me to do the internship. I joined the school for internship on 28th August. I asked for permission of the principal of that school to observe five English classes of different teachers of diverse levels. These five class observations I have written in detail about my project paper. The first day I was very nervous. But I was very excited. My first day of class did not go to well. Because it is my first experience. I could not teach the students anything that. But I really enjoyed when I introduced to them. But the subsequent classes were much better because I was prepared. Other teachers helped me a lot in the internship. They supported me a lot. I took the classes under the supervision of Assistant Headteacher. I gained a lot of experience doing my internship here. I noticed a lot of strengths and weakness in this school during my internship which I have written about those in my project paper. I got a chance to give guard in SSC exam, test exam and annual examination. On the first day of the SSC exam, I was very scared. From the second day of the SSC exam, I was not afraid rather I was very excited. I think, it was a golden opportunity for me.
