Internship Report
This is the report on my internship at Banga Dhariti Textile and Engineering Institute (BTEI) to improve the communication skills of vocational students. The report discusses pedagogical approaches in a technical education environment, with a focus on engineering students. During my internship, I delivered lessons on communication, word building, and grammar to develop the students’ language skills in the context of technical English. The instruction structures I employed were designed to help people learn the skill of effective communication in a technical context, which is precisely what they’ll need on the job. The article also discusses the challenges and triumphs of teaching in a technical ecosystem. It offers suggestions for restructuring language courses to better cater to vocational students. It also offers ideas for improving language instruction in technical education, as well as lesson plans and other materials that may be helpful to teachers.
