In view of the remarkable economic growth that Bangladesh has achieved, it can be expected that the demand for rural infrastructural projects will further increase. For the pressing need, various stakeholders are to be considered for being trained by LGED. Evidently this includes LGED and LGI staff, but also the beneficiaries of LGED projects, contractors, consultants, and certainly the workforce. This is to be seen in the context of a fast-changing environment for the construction sector, also in rural areas. Since they do not have any central training complex, this will accommodate all the training programs under one complex covering all the divisional and regional training facilities of LGED. The main demand of the project was to design the project in such a manner that the construction skill centre zone encourages local workers to attend the practical training courses willingly. They would get a rural courtyard type environment, open yards to have practical training. study says that local labour & workers prefer practical training rather than indoor classes and seminars. This paper seeks to establish how the architectural design of LGED Training Complex can be used to fulfil the demand of the LGED inhouse training facilities while providing the best suitable environment for all its users.
