Abstract

BRAC is the biggest Non Government Organisation in 2013 & 2014. It has many projects running throughout Asia & Africa. These projects mainly focus on developing education, Health, Nutrition, most importantly women empowerment. BRAC International is developing new strategies & procedures to develop peoples life and their mostly needed areas. Currently BRAC International has their field office located in Afghanistan, Uganda, Tanzania, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Liberia, Sri Lanka, Haiti & Philippines. With over 100,000 employees reaching an estimated 135 million people BRAC is the world’s largest non government organisation. BRAC is the development success story, spreading story, spreading anti poverty solutions born in Bangladesh to 10 other developing countries in Asia, Africa and Caribbean, making it a global leader in providing opportunities for the world’s poor. Originally the Bangladesh Rehabilitation Assistance Committee and later the Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee, it is now formally known simply as BRAC. Of this great organisation BRAC International is the only organisation which operates throughout BI countries which is mentioned earlier. The projects that BRAC International runs are: Agriculture & Food security Ultra Poor Community Empowerment Disaster, Environment & Climate Change Education Gender Justice and Diversity Health, Nutrition and Population Human Rights & Legal Aid Services Microfinance Migration Integrated Development Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Social Enterprises and Investments With over 8000 staff members including H/O and country office BRAC International are trying to make difference in human lives. These staffs include both Bangladeshi and foreigner all work together with a single mission in mind & that is to help people in need.
