Abstract

This internship report is about my observation, experience and tasks I performed as an English teacher at 108 No. Changaon Government Primary School. As an internship teacher, I had the opportunity to observe and teach from class 1 to class 5. This internship allows me connect with the young learners at a formal educational environment, which aims to bond my theoretical knowledge with I learned from my academic courses with practical application in real classroom with students. From the beginning day of my job as an intern teacher, I was actively participating in classroom observation. I observed the teachers and their teaching methods, the behaviors of the students, their learning process, their needs and also learned essential communication skill that needed for teaching young learners. I focused on improving my teaching skills like lesson planning, effective classroom presentation and co- curricular activities happens in that school. This report shows my responsibilities as an intern teacher, challenges I have faced, findings from the internship, recommendations for that school to improve more and scope for the further improvement as a teacher. This report also highlights my contribution and perspective on teaching English language teaching skills that is suitable for the beginning level learners with student friendly teaching. This report ends with suggestion of improving for the future teachers. Overall, this report is all about my perspective and findings as an English intern teacher.
