The topic of my project paper is “The Present Scenario of English Language Teaching in Bangladeshi Schools”. Basically, due to the lack of English education practice in our country, most of the students consider English as a less important subject. To understand its real situation I went to a school as suggested by my project supervisor and to understand the condition of English education there I first observed the classes of three teachers of that school Mr. Anisul Haque, Abdullah bin Azad and Mr. Mizanur Rahman and later took three classes for a clearer idea and try to understand the actual condition of the students according to their performance. To accommodate the classes, I select a different topic for each class and create three separate lesson plans to determine how much time I will provide lecture. I take the help of my supervisor to prepare these lesson plans and take the class with the permission of the school headmaster. All in all, this whole time was a completely new experience for me and I can learn a lot of new things during this time and I think these experiences will be very useful for me in the future.
