Campus of ASA University

Abstract

ASA University is a private university that is part of ASA foundation’s education plan. The current campus is situated in Shyamoli, Dhaka. However, due to government regulations every private university has to build their own permanent campus. I chose this project as thesis so that I can design a proper university campus and work around the factors that make a campus much more desirable as both educational environment and also as a livable breathable ground. Internationally private university designs are becoming more mature and focusing on interaction, openness, recreation, visual connection, aesthetics, and extra-curricular activities. To keep pace with the modern world, private universities in our country are also changing their focus. I have done the design with keeping these ideologies in mind.
