Abstract

In this report, I have explored various aspects of manufactured oxygen, starting from my experience at Islam Oxygen Limited, to the history of the company and the market, ending with an analysis of the present capacity the nation of Bangladesh has and its implications in the case of a disaster. The main body of the report is separated into three chapters, the first being my experience Islam Oxygen Limited, the second being the overview of the company itself, and finally, on the third, ending with a research on what might happen if the pandemic gets worse and the capacity of oxygen production. I had cited various newspaper articles, and other published papers to base my report on. I had chosen this specific topic as I know firsthand that the pandemic had in fact largely influenced the sale of medical oxygen from my time with IOL. I had also looked into how other sectors were affected by the shortage caused by increased medical demand. I hope this report comes to good use to someone.
