dc.description.abstractThis paper carries the documentation of the design process of Bangladesh Natural History Museum. This will lead to the understanding of the kind of spaces provided in a natural history museum from the very beginning starting with zoning. What factors were behind the design of the natural history museum. How the final design is derived with the help of different methodologies and perspectives. This process describes how the relationship between the design and the site and context is developed and how the design can harmoniously exist in the site with all the facilities. The study process was as important as the final outcome. A lot of factors are responsible when designing a natural history museum. Innovations can also be made to improve the experience of the Natural History Museum. At the end of the day the spaces should be comfortable and usable to the users and the context.
