    Working capital management a study on studio corinthian

    Studio Corinthian is an architecture and engineering consultancy partnership firm. It started its journey in 2013. It specialized in architectural planning,interior and exterior design and implementation of development projects. The main clients of Studio Corinthian are corporate, home owner, government and contactors.Studio Corinthianaim is to be known as a multidisciplinary consulting firm with the ability to complete projects successfully in various fields of consulting services in which it specialize. The slogan of Studio Corinthian is “Behind the horizon of aesthetics”. This report is based on Working Capital Management a study on Studio Corinthian. Working capital management involves the relationship between a firm's short-term assets and its short-term liabilities. The goal of working capital management is to ensure that a firm is able to continue its operations and that it has sufficient ability to satisfy both maturing short-term debt and upcoming operational expenses. Studio Corinthian has adequate resources to continue its operations and more capable the company is to pay its obligations. A high working capital can be a signal that the Studio Corinthian might be able to expand its operations.In 2015 Studio Corinthian working capital taka 1,993,001 which indicates that it has the ability to pay off its short-term liabilities.In 2015 quick ratio was 2.43 which higher than 2014. Higher quick ratio indicates company may keep too much cash on hand or have a problem collecting its accounts receivable.In 2014 average collection period was 31 days which was slightly high. A longer collection period may negatively affect the short-term debt paying ability of the business. However in 2015 it reduced its receivables collection days approximately 26 days.In 2015, Studio Corinthian earns net revenue per employee taka 878,125 out of total employees 16 person. Finally it can be said that, The architectural firm needs to know not only how much cash will be required to meet expenses in the near term but also the firm‟s general requirements for working capital.

    The concept of 360 degree entrepreneurship and its importance in Bangladesh

    This entrepreneurship report on AceQuad Startup Network focuses on the services offered by the company and its supported startup companies. It establishes the type of business the company is operating and how it is important in the context of Bangladesh. Being the initiator of AceQuad Startup Services I first thought of solving such problems and meeting such needs of the customers. In the context of Bangladesh, as the average income is not much high people are always searching for a reasonable price. And in terms of offering a reasonable price it is much helpful if the services can be offered in bulk. In this way the prices can be reduced to a minimum as well as profits can also be maximized. For this reason, AceQuad Startup Network set up a strategy that we are going to offer all the services that a customer will need while availing any of our services. This strategy resembles a 360 degree ecosystem and thus helps customers to get the best services at the most reasonable price. The goal of this entrepreneurship report is to analyse the importance of 360 degree business and how it is important for the customers in a country like Bangladesh. This report will also try to find out how such businesses can develop themselves while giving their services.

    Transfer learning based industrial steel plates fault diagnosis using industrial fault signals

    Transfer learning (TL) has shown its great advantage to solve small-training-sample issues utilizing information learned from existing large data with deep learning tech- niques. Transfer learning has been e ectively applied in many deep learning net- works where su cient training samples are not accessible; it still experiences es- sential problems for image processing. Image processing technology has become an interesting eld in medics as image processing plays avital role in the discovery of the diseases in the early stages, which facilitates the treatment of these diseases. Image processing divides into numerous scopes. For case, image classi cation, image seg- mentation, image enhancement and image assessment. In this thesis, we will review the existing industrial fault diagnosis models and will propose an image-based deep learning model to detect or predict industrial faults. In order to do that we will convert 1D sensor's fault signals to 2D images. After that, we will extract deep fea- tures using a deep learning model for training and testing the classi er. To validate our model, we will use an industrial fault dataset. As programming tools, we will use Python and MATLAB.

    Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activities of Chromene Derivatives

    The design and synthesis of chalcone and chromene derivatives and their antibacterial activities were studied in this research. Conveniently, all products were synthesized from commercially available acetophenone, 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde and dimedone. Different synthetic strategies were used to obtain an easily accessible chromene scaffold with appropriate handles. At first, this research work was involved in an efficient procedure for the attachment of 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde and acetophenone in the presence of 10% NaOH to produce 3-(4-Hydroxy-phenyl)-1-phenyl-propenone. 4-{3-[(2,4-Dinitro-phenyl)-hydrazono]-3-phenyl-propenyl}-phenol phenylamine has been synthesized by the reaction of 2,4 dinitro phenyl hydrazine with chalcone. Reaction of dimedone with chalcone under refluxing condensation using dry benzene and zinc chloride as a catalyst to give the corresponding chromene derivative 4-(4-Hydroxy-phenyl)-7,7-dimethyl-2-phenyl-4,6,7,8-tetrahydro-chromen-5-one. This reaction also carried out by Microwave Irradiation and use ethanol as a solvent, without any catalyst. It was found that the preparation time for the compounds was reduced from 72 hours to 5-10 minutes during microwave irradiation. The structures of the all synthesized compounds were characterized by their IR, 1H NMR spectral data. The antibacterial and antifungal activity of the compounds was also investigated. The antimicrobial activity of the compounds at concentration 300 μg/disc was performed against three gram-positive bacteria (Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus and Listeria monocytogenes) and three gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhimurium, and citobacteria frundi) by Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method using Ciprofloxacin as standard. Antifungal screening was carried out against one fungi (Tricodarma harzianum) using Michonazole as standard. Compound, I, 3-(4-Hydroxy-phenyl)-1-phenyl-propenone exhibits no activity against the tested bacterial strains Bacillus cereus, Listeria monocytogenes, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhimurium, Citrobacter freundii, but showed moderate activity against the tested bacteria Staphylococcus aureus having inhibition zone 8 mm and also show antifungal activity aganist Trichoderma harzianum inhibition zone 10mm. Compound, II, 4-{3-[(2,4-Dinitro-phenyl)-hydrazono]-3-phenyl-propenyl}-phenol exhibits no activity against gram negative, gram positive strains but showed antifungal activity against Trichoderma harzianum inhibition zone 6 mm. Compound, III, 4-(4-Hydroxy-phenyl)-7,7-dimethyl-2-phenyl-4,6,7,8-tetrahydro-chromen-5-one showed activity against Gram positive, Gram negative except Listeria monocytogenes, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhimurium. This compound, III also showed antifungal activity against Trichoderma harzianum inhibition zone 8 mm.

    Learning Agility Quotient and Work Readiness of Graduating Accounting Students: Embracing the Dynamics of IR4.0

    This study examines if the learning agility quotient (LAQ) is an important determinant for the work readiness of graduating accounting students in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0) environment. Using a questionnaire survey involving 275 respondents, we find that those with higher intelligence quotient (IQ) and emotional quotient (EQ) have higher LAQ. We also find that LAQ mediates the positive impact of IQ and EQ on their work readiness. Our findings implicate accounting education as they highlight the significant role of LAQ in relation to IQ, EQ, and work readiness. Further research is needed to determine if educational and work environment factors can effectively support and enhance learning agility.

    Industrial Effluent Treatment by Aeration and Filtration (Multimedia Filter)

    Tannery industries produces large amount of wastewater containing huge amount of pollutants that doesn’t satisfies the standard values of ECR. It should be treated before contaminating river water. This study focuses on treating tannery wastewater without using any chemical products. The Study aimed to reach Bangladesh guideline levels for industrial wastewater of which were pH(6-9),TS (2200mg/L), EC(1200 micro siemens per centimeter), DO (6mg/l), At first aeration and sedimentation was done of the wastewater for various retention times like 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours and so on. After completing aeration and sedimentation finally filtration was done using a multimedia filter which contains five layers of filter materials. These filter materials can reduce turbidity, color, total suspended solids etc. The main aim of this project is reducing the chemical oxygen demand (COD) value. These three steps process (aeration + sedimentation + filtration) resulted in 80-90% reduction in COD. Pollutant removal efficiency was measured in terms of total dissolved solids, total suspended solids, color, turbidity and COD. Dissolved oxygen level of the wastewater was increased due to aeration. Most values were found to achieve standard values.

This report has covered almost all the strategies of Aarong for marketing its product. It also includes a brief profile of the enterprise. To know the strategy of the enterprise it also includes the product categories and the distribution channel of the enterprise. The objective of this report is to identify and analyze marketing strategies of Aarong. I have used both the Primary sources of data and Secondary sources of data. The data has been collected through oral conversation. The limitations to get the proper information were Time barriers, Intension to not disclose the information, Rules and regulation etc. The vision of the company is to remain as the benchmark in the fashion industry. Being an innovative and creative enterprise, consistently delivering world-class products ensuring best consumer satisfaction through continuous value added services provided by highly professional and committed team. The main product sources of Aarong is-AAF (Ayesha Abed Foundation) and The Independent producers. Aarong produces more than 100 product line. All these products are highly fashionable. Their products are basically two types-Textile and Non-Textile. Now Aarong going to expand its market all over the world through e-commerce. It’s clearly indicated that Aarong is in the leading position among all other competitors in the fashion industry. At present the company holds 65% market share where as the rest of 35%market share holds by the other multi-national and local companies. The major’s participants of the fashion industry are- Grameen, Kkrafts, Anjans, Rong, Banglar Mela, Anna mela etc. Being an Intern I worked at Aarong center. I really enjoyed the job during my internship program. Marketing strategies of Aarong is built on STP – Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning. Aarong discovers different needs and groups in the market place, target those needs and groups that it can satisfy in the superior way and then position its offerings, so that the target market recognize the enterprises distinctive offerings and image. Aarong is constantly working to improve its products quality through comparative study and customer feedback in order to maintain competitive edge. However, finally in this report there are some suggestions and recommendations for making better strategy and removing lacking

    Talent acquisition in Banglalink: challenges and achievement of a recruiter

    Banglalink is one of the largest cellular service providers in Bangladesh. Banglalink Digital Communications Ltd. (previously Orascom Telecom Bangladesh Ltd.) is fully owned by Telecom Ventures Ltd. (previously Orascom Telecom Ventures Ltd.) of Malta, which is a 100% owned subsidiary of global telecom holding. I tried to put all my experience, knowledge and observation of the recruitment and selection challenges of the recruiters. Therefore, Banglalink always believes in maintaining its standards of HR policies to achieve more high level of job satisfaction for their employees. Different level of challenges briefly described from the real experience which I gather from the past 3 month of internship period. After evaluation of all the jobs and categories the success of the recruiter is also discussed. Moreover in the end I try to put some recommendation which I believe, it can boost the process of the company profile

    PRODUCTION POTENTIALITY OF GIMA KALMI UNDER MANGO AND GAMARI TREE BASED AGROFORESTRY SYSTEM IN CHAR LAND

    A field experiment was conducted in the char land of Gangachara Upazila under Rangpur district during July, 2019 to September, 2019 to evaluate the performance of Gima Kalmi under Mango and Gamari tree based agroforestry system influenced by different production systems and fertilizers application packages. The experiment was laid out in two factorial RCBD with 4 (four) replications. Factor A was three production systems viz. S1= Mango + Gima Kalmi, S2= Gamari + Gima Kalmi, S3= Gima Kalmi sole cropping and Factor B was four fertilizer and manure application packages viz. F0= No Fertilizer, F1= only cow-dung @ 10 t/ha, F2= only poultry manure @ 5 t/ha and F3= only chemical fertilizer as per Standard Recommendation Guide. The total numbers of experimental plots were 48. The result of the experiment revealed that plant height [30, 45, 60 and 75 DAS (Days after sowing)] as cm, number of leaves/plant (30, 45, 60 and 75 DAS), number of branches/plant (30, 45, 60 and 75 DAS), weight of fresh leaves/plant (30,45, 60 and 75 DAS) as gm, yield (30, 45, 60 and 75 DAS) as (t/ha) of Gima Kalmi significantly varied due to the different production systems and fertilizer applications when cultivated under the Mango and Gamari tree based agroforestry system in char land of Tista river basin. In case of main effects of different production systems, the maximum yield (9.08 t/ha) was recorded from Gima Kalmi sole cropping i.e. in treatment S3, whereas moderate yield (7.51 t/ha) was recorded from Mango + Gima Kalmi based agroforestry system i.e. in treatment S1. On the other hand, the minimum yield (3.82 t/ha) was recorded from Gamari + Gima Kalmi based agroforestry system i.e. in treatment S2. In case of main effects of fertilizer and manure applications, the highest yield (9.42 t/ha) was recorded from the plot where fully chemical fertilizer (F3) was applied whereas the lowest yield (3.71 t/ha) was obtained from the plot where no fertilizer (F0) was applied. Again, in case of interaction effects the maximum yield (10.54 t/ha) was recorded in the plot where Gima Kalmi was cultivated as sole cropping using only chemical fertilizer (S3F3) whereas the minimum yield (14.2 t/ha) was recorded in the plot where Gima Kalmi was cultivated at the floor of Gamari woodlot with no fertilizer (S2F0). From the economic analysis, it was found that the highest benefit-cost ratio (4.15) was recorded from Mango + Gima Kalmi based agroforestry system (S1) followed by Gamari + Gima Kalmi based agroforestry system (S2). On the other hand, the lowest benefit-cost ratio (2.93) was observed in Gima Kalmi sole cropping (S3). Finally, it may be concluded that Gima Kalmi can be cultivated successfully under newly established Mango and Gamari based agroforestry systems at the char land considering the additional returns as per investment in terms of money and time in the char land of Tista River Basin.
