    Citizen Journalism by Analyzing Twitter Data for a Particular Geolocation

    This project present citizen journal with different categories of tweets that are extract form Twitter for a particular geolocation. Represent tweets to citizen in comfortable view by specifying some interesting categories . Moreover try to give the latest news ,incident that tweeted by the Twitter user more early than the electronic media.It brings a new era of journalism. I want to introduce citizen journalism and represent interesting pattern or information for specific region by using social Medias data. At present I am working on New York city and the radios of my working area is km around this city.I collect tweets form there and represent it to our citizen. Before developing this application many scholar work with twitter data for their analysis or the other thesis work.And the Citizen Journalism is not a new word to us. It is now introduced whole over the world.But Citizen Journalism Analyzing Twitter Data for a Particular Geolocation is a new thought because the scholar are work either with twitter data or Citizen journal,But they are not worked on conjugate together.Here I conjugate it together and try to show something new .I also analyze data to make an extra portion of my

    Web Optimizer: Reducing the Intermediate Web Traffic

    Usage of Internet is growing rapidly at this time in all over the world. Among all other services, the World Wide Web is the most popular Internet applications. Internet contains various useful information and therefore, the dependency on Internet is increasing day by day. Providing Internet facilities as a tool to complete mundane activities becomes quite common in schools, colleges, government and non-government organizations etc. However, the process of digitalization has not been achieved as desired due to the lack of infrastructure, awareness and proper use of technologies. Developing countries like Bangladesh are still struggling to provide Internet facilities to all other citizens. The availability of Internet at the user end and high expense of Internet data are the main obstacles right now. There are so many technologies working together on server side to handle the thousands of client’s requests at minimum possible time. Those thousands requests come back with thousands responses. All of those messages and contents use Internet as their communication medium and those contents are also known as web traffic.Existing Technologies like web cache and Content Data Network (CDN) work to reduce the web traffic by caching it locally to serve it later. There are few scopes to improve the current technologies. The goal of this thesis is to reduce the web traffic that will lead to faster web browsing experience. Here “Cache Tree” and “LiteWeb” have been introduced and few existing technologies have been modified to work as “Cache Broadcasting” and “Cache Sharing”.

    Web Based Online Shopping

    The business-to-consumer aspect of electronic commerce (e-commerce) is the most visible business use of the World Wide Web. The primary goal of an e-commerce site is to sell goods and services online. This project deals with developing an e-commerce website for online shopping. It provides the user with a catalog of different product available for purchase in the store. In order to facilitate online purchase a shopping cart is provided to the user. The system is implemented using a 3-tier approach, with a backend MySQL database, a middle tier apache server and a web browser as the front end client. In order to develop online shopping application use HTML, CSS, JAVA Script, server side scripting language PHP and relational database MySQL. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where consumer is provided with a shopping cart application and also to know about the technologies used to develop such an application

    Pricoms: A Price Comparison Web Site Based on E-commerce Service

    E-commerce in Bangladesh is rapidly progressing. Around 250 e-commerce website are currently active in Bangladesh. Total transaction amount is 100 cr.BDT and expecting more growth in near feature. However in reality , one new e-commerce website is lunching in each day as there is a lack of regulation and govt. limitation. In such situation, in nefarious businessman is typing to play monopoly with product pricing. The situation becomes bad or even worse when the customer does not any comparison facilities. Things can be done by manual tracking and it is time consuming. To assists coustomer with better pricing detection development of price comparison tool is inevitable. "Pricoms" is the tool that helps to solve this problem .

    Transforming a Multi-value Database System into a Relational Database System for Faster Querying

    When the data is fluid and relationships among attributes are getting complex and are changing rapidly over time, a Multi-value Database Management System (MVDBMS) can provide a great deal of support to handle that. MVDBMSs can handle attributes taking a list of values unlike a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) that can only accept single-valued attributes to conform first normal form (1NF). It is suitable to use multi-valued database in case where a list of values can be assigned to a single attribute in a particular record. In this case, MVDBMS can save a lot of storage space and it is quite efficient to retrieve a specific record. However, when it comes into retrieving data based on Select- Project-Join (SPJ) queries, a multi-valued database cannot handle these queries in a straightforward manner.In this thesis, we propose techniques to transform a MVDBMS into a RDBMS for faster querying and retrieval. Therefore, we introduce two novel techniques: one of them will generate database schema conforming to Third Normal Form (3NF) and the other will be in First Normal Form (1NF). 3NF is a normal form that is used in normalizing a database design to reduce the duplication of data and ensure referential integrity. In 1NF the domain of each attribute contains only atomic (indivisible) values, and the value of each attribute contains only a single value from that domain. 1NF create a separate table for each set of related data, so a large number of attributes can be stored into one table but in a set of related data there is a high possibility of data duplicity. In 3NF all the attributes in a table are determined only by the candidate keys of that table and not by any non-prime attributes; so data duplicity will be reduced but to establish referential integrity it requires more table. As the number of table increase, it will require more joining operation which will cost time.

    Online Travel Agency Management System

    In this project, I develop and design online based software titled “Online Travel Agency Management System”. I develop this web based software for the automation of a Travel Agency. This client server based software will serve all the agents of a travel agency and record all the information of a passenger. Through this software, the agency can find out all the money transactions and passenger services from remote places. Necessary reports are also been supplied by this software. In this project, there is a login page for each employee of the travel agency. The admin user can define roles to all the users with respect to their user type. That means, the admin can authenticate that which type of user can see or perform operation into which pages. The software is device independent.

    Electronic Book Shop: An Online Book Store for the Individual

    The main objective of this project is to create an Electronic Book Shop that allows users to search and purchase a book online based on category, author and subject. The selected books are displayed and the user can order their books online through bkash, dbbl mobile banking or Cash on delivery. Using this Website the user can purchase a book online instead of going out to a book store and wasting time. Electronic Book Shop is an online web application where the customer can purchase books online. Through a web browser the customers can search for a book by its subjects, titles or authors and later can add to the shopping cart and finally purchase using bkash or Cash on delivery. The user can login using his account details or new customers can set up an account very quickly. They should give the details of their name, contact number and shipping address. The books are divided into many categories based on subject like School, College and University. A customer can, create, sign in to his account, place items into a shopping cart and purchase. The Administrator will have additional functionality when compared to the common user. He can add, delete and update the book details, book categories, member information and also confirm a placed order. After all, this Website is error free. Any user can use this website friendly.

    Geo-location Based Search Tool for Tweets

    Today social media is a great resource for public thoughts. But there is a lack of a tools that can dynamically grab tweets or posts from different geo-locations. Even twitter doesn’t have an option where we can find tweets by map based geo-location. So there is a need of a search tool that can search posts from any geo-location s along with some filters like keyword, hashtags, radious of area, popularity etc. Twitter is one of the most popular social media. In this project i search tweets from twitter applying some dynamic filtering and also map for geo-location selection and throw the first hundred tweets for further use. Initially the posts are shown onpage and any user can further use the posts for various works like saving in a database, using for other websites or analize tweets. In web development world, tools are one of the most powerful part of creative works. This dynamic search tool will be a big help for the developers who wants to work with twitter data and want geo-location based tweets and can also give users the opportunity to select any geo-location along with hashtags, keywords an radious.

    Web Based Online MCQ Examination System

    Communication system is very important in all sectors. The internet has revolutionized the computer and communications world like nothing before and invented so many things through the internet. The communication of the different location or long distance is now completed in a few seconds. The traditional examination system is a time consuming to prepare the places, invigilators, exam papers etc. After taking the examination to check the script manually is a lengthy process and time consuming also. To take the exam and training of the existing employee in different locations and reduces the manual efforts is the main objective of the project. The Online Examination System (OES) is a web based examination system, which is used to take written examination of their employees. It has monitoring online based and the employees can get a chance to take exam in the different location.
