Reasoning Over Context in Bangla: A Generative QA Approach to Factoid Understanding Using LLM
(Daffodil International University, 2025-01-14) Rana, Md. Masud
This paper presents the development of a Bangla Question Answering (QA) system using advanced transformer-based models to tackle the complexities of Bangla language processing. Specifically, it compares the performance of BanglaT5, a model fine-tuned for Bangla, with mT5, a multilingual variant of the T5 model. Both models were evaluated on a dataset of over 7,500 Bangla news articles, focusing on factoid-based question answering. The results show that BanglaT5 outperforms mT5 on key metrics such as ROUGE, BLEU, Character Error Rate (CER), and Word Error Rate (WER), showcasing its superior ability to handle Bangla’s unique linguistic features like morphology and syntax. BanglaT5 achieved a ROUGE-1 F1 score of 0.6979, Exact Match Accuracy of 0.49, and CER of 0.4054, demonstrating its ability to generate accurate, contextual answers. In contrast, mT5’s performance was much lower, with an Exact Match Accuracy of 0.0008 and WER of 0.9996. This comparison highlights the importance of fine-tuning models for specific languages like Bangla, emphasizing the limitations of multilingual models in tasks requiring deep linguistic understanding. The system developed in this research offers a scalable solution for Bangla QA, with potential applications in education, public services, and digital literacy, contributing to the growing field of Bangla NLP. Future work will focus on deploying the model in real time, expanding the dataset, and exploring multimodal capabilities to increase its use in real-world applications.

Study on 2D Materials for Flexible Electronics
(Daffodil International University, 2024-08-16) Rana, Md. Masud; Bhuyian, Md. Jubayer Hossain
Flexible electronics is a fleetly evolving field with the eventuality to revise a wide range of diligence, from wearables to medical bias. One of the crucial challenges in this field is the development of accoutrements that can repel mechanical distortion without compromising their electrical performance. Two- dimensional(2D) accoutrements offer a promising result to this challenge, as they parade exceptional mechanical parcels and unique electrical characteristics. 2D accoutrements are a class of accoutrements that have a consistence of only a many tittles. They’re generally made up of a single subcaste of tittles that are arranged in a two- dimensional chassis. Some of the most well- known 2D accoutrements include graphene, transition essence dichalcogenides (TMDs), black phosphorus and Mxenes. 2D accoutrements have a number of parcels that make them seductive for flexible electronics. They're featherlight, flexible, and transparent, making them ideal for bias that need to be fraudulent, folded, or rolled. In addition, they've high carrier mobility and tunable bandgaps, which make them suitable for a wide range of electronic operations, similar as transistors, detectors, and energy storehouse bias. The integration of 2D accoutrements into flexible electronics has been the subject of violent exploration in recent times. A number of different ways have been developed for transferring and integrating 2D accoutrements onto flexible substrates, similar as polymer flicks or fabrics. These ways have enabled the fabrication of largely flexible and high- performance 2D- grounded bias. 2D accoutrements have formerly been used in a number of marketable products, similar as flexible touch defenses and wearable detectors. As exploration in this area continues, it's likely that 2D accoutrements will play a decreasingly important part in the development of flexible electronics.

These days learning management system (lms) are not confined to inaccessible employments. By the by, the educational expressiveness of planned courses is firmly subject to the educator's information and ability about the focused on stage. The subsidized graphite project expects to help instructors in zeroing in on the particular of educationally solid and actually executable learning plans. To this end, we propose to help instructors by giving a lms-explicit visual instructional design language. This paper proposes a particular lms-focused methodology for raising the educational expressiveness of its certain learning plan semantics. We talked about, in agreement to the action hypothesis, how the lms low-level definitions could be disconnected to assemble more elevated level structure blocks. In view of the moodle application, we introduce and delineate our methodology by formalizing the theoretical grammar of a moodle committed vidl.
