The Digital Security Act 2016 was enacted only to protect the important data of the Government of Bangladesh from various types of cyber attacks. In this legal process, the state did not consider the protection of electronic communications and personal information, as well as the freedom of expression online and the privacy of all other basic human rights of all people in the state. In recent years, the Bangladesh government has been abusing freedom of thought, conscience, and gestures to suppress data. Things got worse during the Covid 19 epidemic because of the harassment, detention and arrest of teachers, students, garment workers and human rights activists. The main objective of the Digital Security Act is to "ensure digital security". But the Act does not directly address or analyze what the Digital Security Act actually means. Even all the provisions to ensure digital security are not properly enshrined in this act. Digital security basically refers to the control policy that needs to be adopted through information and communication technology in order to ensure the free exchange of information, confidentiality, accuracy, availability, etc. of all information and data. The Digital Security Act is a law enacted by the Bangladesh government in October 2018. The government claims that this law has been enacted to provide security to the citizens. However this law and some of the provisions within the law are too broad and vague, which has provided enormous punitive power to the law enforcement agencies. For example, one of the provisions enables the law enforcement agencies to seize any equipment, arrest anybody or search any premises without any warrant. The digital security Act has become a weapon of choice for the government and its supporters to silence the citizens and muzzle freedom of expression. The law has a provision which allows the law enforcement agencies to file charges against individuals even before the crime is committed merely on the basis of a suspicion. Besides, there is another provision which allows the supporters of the government and for that matter any individual to file charges or file cases against individuals, even if he ro she is not aggrieved. So this has been used by the supporters of the government over the last three years. That created a culture of fear among anybody.Item A Socio Politico Legal Study on causes of crimes in Bangladesh: A critical Analysis(Daffodil International University, 22-09-30) Mim, Tulona HossainIn this paper, we focused on crime in Bangladesh and its political and social characteristics, causes, effects, and preventative measures. This study makes an effort to illustrate with specific examples how crime in Bangladesh has been thoroughly and holistically analyzed. In recent years, crime of all kinds, the drug trade, violence, terrorism, kidnapping, murder, illicit trade, politics, lack of education, and poverty have all increased in Bangladesh, contributing to the country's social and political instability. The primary goal in Bangladesh is to minimize crime, and several effective methods must be taken to achieve this goal, including increased public awareness, efficient laws and regulations, police reform, and an appropriate justice system.Item Conditions in Muslim Marriage: A Comparative analysis Between Bangladesh and Morocco(Daffodil International University, 22-09-30) Uddin, Muhammad MahfuzMarriage contract woman rights and opportunities, are provided by both our sharia and statutory law.1But this right of a woman is often violated by the husband dominated societies. There is no doubt that marriage under Islamic law has a religious influence. It is a contract. Because it deals with normal contractual formalities: offer and acceptance by the efficient person, that is why it is treated as a civil contract. The marriage contract should be researched to determine and clarify the rights of the woman. It is their right to give the wife the power of divorce, this is generally accepted as permissible by all madhabs. But our societies are silent about this matter. However, the requirement must be inserted according to the sharia law. That is mean all requirement is not allowed under sharia law. For example, like a husband will not take a second wife, this rule is invalid in Hanafi schools. But the Hanbali schools give consent to insert such type of matter in a marriage contract.2Other important requirements should be highlighted which are essential for the present world as a husband will not interdict his wife’s work or a husband will permit his wife to complete her study. Whether sharia has given open scope for the requirement in marriage contracts but Bangladesh has no whole specific statutory law on the ground of requirement in marriage contracts except kabinnama. I audited the present scenario of Bangladeshi women and also the government's insensibility about such rights. The case of conditions in the marriage contract in Morocco has played an effective role in the rights of the woman. Concerning conditions, in a marriage contract, Morocco made statutory provisions concerning the „property regime‟ for example The Moroccan Family Code (Moudawana), 2004 the new family code enact in Morocco. Regarding a property rule,3Moroccan law may be a good example for making a statutory provision for purposes of requirement in marriage contracts in Muslim countries.4 I am perfectly interested in the requirement in a marriage contract for the reclamation of rights of the women 1 E.H.Dr. Muhammad,(2015), Muslim family law, a requirement in a marriage contract (1st ed. The method of combating cybercrime is described here and also the implementations of laws are shown in it. This thesis is completely supported laws of our country. It also focuses the lacking of our laws and the way to unravel this problem; it also described. A way to combat cybercrime and by which way; it also mentioned here. Describe the combating system, which is mentioned in our Acts. What's the scenario of our country; also shown during this. Bangladesh isn't capable to combat it now; it's proved during this research and also the way of overcome from this is often also mentioned. We've no any laws to combating cybercrime and why it's urgent to create it; also elaborate during this research.Item Domestic Violence Against Male Spouse: A Comparative Study Between Bangladesh and India(Daffodil International University, 22-12-14) Chowdhury, Azhar2022 is a year where we saw Hollywood actress Amber Heart falsely accused Hollywood megastar Johnny Depp for DV. Which eventually made his life very bad, he lost credibility in the industry. People did not want to work with him because of his wife’s claim. That made the researcher think in Bangladesh and India also people believe women’s claim without any kind of investigating the issue. Lots of false claim not only make male spouses socially ashamed but also make his life a living jahannam. This research paper will show the readers the growing agenda of DV in the shape of mental abuse, sexual abuse, verbal abuse, economic violence towards male spouse by their wives. The massage is not like all the cases of female DV are false. The researcher admits the ratio of females being abused mentally, physically, sexually are way higher then male spouse being tortured in this manner. But if the readers go through this legal research, they will find out that; as Bangladeshis sees woman very respectfully and Indians respects women in such a degree that they consider women as devi or Goddess. Citizen of this region believes women’s perspectives more than men. Even one man makes fun of other man if they came to know he has been DVed by his wife. Even wife beating her husband is showing as comedy skits. People are laughing to see in live performance a female character beating her husband and the husband making funny faces.Item The Pathway to Restoration of Human Rights of the Rohingya Refugee: A Legal Analysis(Daffodil International University, 23-01-10) Chowdhury, SadiaBangladesh is a South Asian country which is over populated and also known as one of the most densely populated country of the world, sharing its border with India and Myanmar. Right after the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, it has started experiencing the constant refugee flight of Muslim Rohingya from Myanmar. Half a decade has passed after several hundred thousand Rohingya refugees fled to Bangladesh joining the previous hundred thousand who arrived earlier, but still there is no long-term solutions visible in sight. This paper observes and explores associated notions of this scenario. The right to return and the right to remain of Rohingya refugees from Myanmar has been considered as main focus. The paper has also discussed the rights and attempts to make experience of them throughout the light of human rights; along with human protection and human capital approaches. This is done based on secondary studies and authentic sources, NGO reviews and numerous different online documents. The primary reasons of Rohingyas displacement have included in the following manner as- rejection in their citizenship and identity, styles of land colonization, ethnic discrimination in livelihoods and education, ethnic and religious exclusion along with apartheid segregation. Denial of the rights of ethnic Rohingyas to citizenship rights is each one of the root reasons of the Rohingya refugee query. This paper intends to find out the solutions and pathway to sustainable restoration of the human rights of the Rohingya refuges by making analysis of the possibility of their return to their own land throughout legal analysis under the light of international legal instruments and international practices.Item Dengue Disease Analysis in Dhaka City Using Machine Learning Techniques(Daffodil International University, 23-01-17) Hassan, Md RakibAs global urbanization and climate change accelerate, Dengue fever is spreading globally. Bangladesh has also experienced varying degrees of Dengue fever, particularly in the city of Dhaka, causing huge economic losses. Therefore, we collected data on temperature, relative humidity, and rainfall in Dhaka city and tried to find out what kind of relationship there is with dengue. For this purpose, we have collected data on the accuracy of dengue fever forecast in Dhaka city during the period 2010-2019 and also collected our weather data for the same period. First, apply the Linear Regression algorithm of machine learning to this data set to investigate the association of climate with dengue fever. Then apply the Time Series algorithm to whom I have tried to clarify how it is influencing over time. So in our work, we first use the time series dengue fever data that were decomposed into seasonal, trend, and remainder components. Now the seasonal-trend decomposition procedure is based on loess (STL). Then secondly, the time lag of variables was determined in cross-correlation analysis and the order of autocorrelation was estimated using autocorrelation (ACF) and partial autocorrelation functions (PACF). Finally, the two algorithms performed very well on our datasets. Applying the time series algorithm was very challenging for us because we know that Dengue fever is mainly in August, September, and October of the year. September, and October is the maximum but at other times their effect is less. Also we convert our data into categorical and apply some other algorithms. One of them is Logistics Regression, Decision Tree, Navie Bayes, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and also apply Random Forest Regression. But here some Algorithm works well but the result of some Algorithm was not satisfactory. Besides that, the biggest challenge was data collection. But in the end, i succeeded and fully did it.Item Prevention of Cyber Attacks on Home WiFi Network(Daffodil International University, 23-01-18) Deb, Gopal ChandraOur home Wi-Fi allows computers and a variety of other devices, such as smartphones and PDAs, to connect wirelessly to the internet. Unsecured Wi-Fi makes it easier for hackers to get to your private files and information and also lets people who shouldn't be able to access your internet do so. Traditional security techniques are insufficient to protect the network nodes because of resource constraints. Numerous security solutions have been developed as a result of network security research. Because wireless channels aren't secure, communications are vulnerable to many types of attacks. Wireless network communications are still a complex and important subject. This article discusses recent developments in security needs and services for wireless network communications. In my paper, I’ll mention wifi network security, types of wireless security protocols, and types of wifi security devices, and also mention how the user can minimize wifi network risks.Item Factors Affecting Admission Into Post graduation Programs Among Bangladeshi Graduates(Daffodil International University, 23-01-18) Shahriar, S MThis thesis titled “Factors Affecting Admission into Postgraduation Programs Among Bangladeshi Graduates” is used machine learning algorithms to determine whether students are interested or not the admit or completing the post-graduation degree, and also analysis the ratio and some factors that can think to do post-graduation after completing a bachelor's degree. For this project, the data is collected offline. There are four machine learning algorithms used for analysis. In this analysis, I got 93% accuracy from logistic regression algorithms. In this analysis there are 58.5% student from 600 total number are want to do public job, and 25.5% want to do private job after under graduation, and rest of 15.7% want to continue study in any foreign country. On the other hand, 53.2% student from 600 total number are want to do post-graduation, and 34% do not want to do graduation after under graduation, and rest of 12.8% are confused.Item A Wide Convolution Network Based Classification Path for Recognition Papaya Leaf Disease(Daffodil International University, 23-01-18) Ripa, Kaniz FatimaThe top papaya-producing countries are India, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, Nigeria and the Dominican Republic. But in papaya especially leaf curl, foot rot of papaya, papaya ring spot and many other diseases are causing great damage to papaya yield. If the diseases are not determined in the early stages, papaya production will decline. The main goal of this piece of research work is to develop and put into effect an algorithm for diagnosing papaya illnesses at the early stage, which are Papaya leaf curl virus (PaLCuV), Papaya ring spot disease, Anthracnose, Foot rot of papaya and Papaya mosaic disease. This paper presents a technique for papaya disease detection using photograph processing techniques, to understand papaya field diseases from images, primarily based on the color, texture and form of diseased papaya and provide appropriate options to farmers, so that papaya diseases can be prevented at an early stage and as a result higher production of papaya can be achieved. I used the cross-validation technique in this model and get the accuracy of 87% which is more than expectation.Item Cyberbullying Detection From Romanized Bangla Text Using Deep Learning Techniques(Daffodil International University, 23-01-18) Mia, MD. MojnuPeople can freely express their ideas and opinions on a wide range of topics directly through a variety of social media outlets thanks to advancements in the internet and social media. In Bangladesh, people use both English and Romanized Bangla to write comments on social media sites like Facebook and Instagram. These remarks can be both positive and negative. Writing in our mother tongue simply stands out more than writing in other languages. Researchers have put a lot of effort into detecting cyberbullying in English and Bangla among other languages. In this thesis, I present my work on identifying offensive language from comments taken from celebrities on various social sites. What usually happens on social sites is that users post comments, some of which are good and some of which are offensive. The social site user follows all comments except those filtered by the poster's profile. I created a data set of about 1200 comments, including good comments and offensive comments. Where I have leveled the good and offensive comments. I have leveled good comments as 0 and offensive comments as 1. When celebrities post on social media my algorithm will check with the data set and users will try to share their comments and show only positive comments. In real-time, all abusive comments will come to spam and social media harassment will decrease.Item Rohingya Crisis: Role of International Community and Durable Solution Under International Law(Daffodil International University, 23-01-18) Chakraborti, RajesThis paper explore all about the ongoing Rohingya crisis as well as the present scenario of that crisis in Bangladesh along with all over the world and its probable expecting ending. The conclusion of the procedures is aided by the use of numerous machine learning algorithms to a collection of data. The use of machine learning to predict disease has been the subject of numerous studies in the past. However, there are several chances for development. This work aims to examine alternative machine learning-based models for diabetes prediction using pre-processing techniques, classical classifiers, and ensemble classifiers. The major cause of death globally during the past few decades has been heart disease, sometimes referred to as cardiovascular disease. It includes a variety of disorders that have an impact on the heart. One of the hardest difficulties in the medical industry right now is the prognosis of heart disease. There are numerous risk factors associated with heart disease, and it is urgent to find accurate, trustworthy, and practical methods to make an early diagnosis and achieve fast disease management. Machine learning approaches have advanced the health industry by several researches as a result of current technological advancements. The purpose of this study is to develop an ML model for heart disease prediction using the relevant factors. For this research project, we have collected a dataset from "kaggle" that consists of 13 different parameters connected to heart disease. Machine learning methods such Random Forest, Logistic Regression, Naive Bayes, and Decision Tree have been used in the model's design. With the aid of conventional machine learning techniques, we also attempted to identify correlations between the various features present in the dataset with the purpose of effectively predicting the risk of heart disease. The results demonstrate that Random Forest provides better prediction accuracy in less time than other ML approaches.Item Tomato Pest Detection Using Convolutional Neural Network in Bangladesh(Daffodil International University, 23-01-18) Polin, Johora AkterOne of the major commercial crops, tomatoes provide a lot of vitamins and can also be consumed as fruit. Throughout its lifecycle, the tomato is affected by a number of diseases and pests. Lack of prompt management might result in decreased yields or possibly crop loss. The most significant stage in finding out how to effectively control diseases and pests and support vegetable farmers in enhancing tomato production is to accurately identify the diseases and insect pests. The analysis and classification of plant diseases are currently the focus of a wide range of research studies based on image processing. These technologies are useful for rapidly detecting pests and illnesses in plants. Plant pests are still a significant issue for the agricultural sector. Aphids, whiteflies, thrips, red spider mites, and looper caterpillars are just a few of the pests that harm tomato plants. Faster detection of these pests on tomato plants might lead to early treatment and dramatically reduced financial losses. Five different types of tomato bugs were investigated. In this study, we compared two approaches to locating typical tomato bugs. In the first method, CNN is used, whereas, in the second method, CNN is combined with a random forest classifier. The contrast has been provided. We have also used some classifiers to measure the accuracy. This study will serve as a guide for the engineering application of intelligent disease and pest detection.Item Movie Recommendation Using Unsupervised Method(Daffodil International University, 23-01-18) Chakma, DibyoEveryone in our hectic world is occupied with their personal and professional lives. There is a maximum number of people who can watch movies in theaters or read books while passing the time. These days, online services like Netflix, Amazon, and others are extremely popular. A recommendation mechanism is necessary for this entire platform. I read some recently released publications to better grasp the current state of recommender systems as well as their potential future directions. The purpose of a movie recommendation system is to make recommendations for films based on the interests of various users. The customers would benefit from time savings when looking for popular movies of their preferred genre. It makes predictions about what movies a user will enjoy based on a data collection and takes into account the qualities of the movies they have already loved. Using a combination of two or more attributes, recommendation systems can suggest movies. Various elements, such as the movie's genre, directors, and performers, are taken into account when developing a movie recommendation algorithm. The cast, keywords, crew, and genres have been used to construct the recommendation system in this work. I start by gathering a data collection from many websites, including Kaggle. Then, using a few strategies, clean up and delete unneeded data. I employ machine learning algorithms like the count vector and cosine similarity algorithm after cleaning datasets. In our datasets, all algorithms perform excellently.Item Evaluation of AI in Education(Daffodil International University, 23-01-18) Anika, Afsana MimInternational Artificial Intelligence in Education Society is a multidisciplinary organization at the forefront of computer science, education, and psychology (IAIED). It encourages thorough investigation and the creation of engaging learning environments for students of all ages and expertise levels. We examined 35 papers from the Journal of AIED's thirteen-year publication history from 2010–2022, in order to identify the focus areas and typical conditions that define the subject of AIED. After reviewing those 35 publications I have noticed that the effects of AI in educational sectors has been shown differently in almost every paper. So depending on those work, I have come to propose an application which can help student, teacher and educational institution at a time.Item Game Playing Effects on Academic Performance of University Students(Daffodil International University, 23-01-18) Rahman, MD. MizanurThis thesis titled “Effects on university students' education by playing online games in Bangladesh using data mining techniques” is used to determine how online game affects students' education. So that the student can spend their time effectively and concentrate their studies and careers. Here, I used data mining techniques to demonstrate how much time they were wasting. Find out the confusion matrix and numerous bar charts for the factors that affect it as well. I also apply five machine learning algorithms to predict the best performance. These algorithms are: logistic regression, SMO (Sequential Minimal Optimization), random forest, bagging classifier, Ada boost classifier. All of these algorithms SMO give the best accuracy of 66%. For this analysis I was collected 800 data from university level student, and this data was collected through google from.Item Credit Risk Analysis Using Machine Learning Algorithms(Daffodil International University, 23-01-18) Banerjee, DepayanAlmost every financial institution, for instance, credit card companies and banks heavily rely on credit risk grade systems to determine whether to issue a loan to the probable debtor. They put the applicants into 8 categories like Superior, Good, Acceptable, Marginal, Special Mention, Substandard, Doubtful, and Bad. They generally depend on traditional judgmental techniques to approve the application which takes a longer period of time. The process can be quickened by applying machine learning algorithms where the models learn from data by analyzing the pattern and then providing us with insight. Credit risk must be handled properly and it is very important for banking institutions, as loss can appear when the debtor is unable to pay back the owed money. In this study, the dataset will be analyzed where people are applying for a loan will be my research subject. Various popular machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest, Decision Tree, Naïve Bayes, KNN, Logistic Regression, and SVM will be applied to train different models and try to predict the outcome of an application being risky to grant a loan or not. The results like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1- Score, the training, and the testing time of each model trained by the mentioned machine learning algorithms will be compared. Finally, the result of each model will be evaluated by applying K-Fold Cross-validation, confusion matrix, and AUC-ROC Cure technique to find the best machine learning model among the mentioned models. In this study, it has been observed that Random Forest is overall the best model with an accuracy of 97.35%, precision of 99.84%, recall of 94.80%, F1-Score of 96.77%, AUC Value of 96.8%, while logistic regression is the second-best algorithm to tackle this problem with 96.59% of accuracy rate.Item Detection of Tomato Diseases Leaf Symptoms Using Image Processing Deep Learning Based Approach(Daffodil International University, 23-01-18) Islam, Md. ArifinTomato is most popular vegetable all over the world. It’s cultivated of high nutritive value. During cultivation tomato leaves expose too many problems and diseases like blight, bacterial spot, early blight, healthy, late blight, leaf mold, sectorial leaf spot ,spider mites two spotted spider mite, target spot, tomato mosaic virus, tomato yellow leaf curl virus etc. So it is necessary to detect these disease so to check their spread and to prevent any undesirable condition. Detection and Identification of these disease on manual level is a very tedious and time consuming process. In this thesis help to understand Detection of tomato diseases leaf symptoms using image processing deep learning-based Approach. I have used tomato leaf as an input value and using artificial intelligence for checking accuracy. My Accuracy rate is 98.1 % on the research of 10490 tomato leaf dataset.
