A community website for the Bengali community residing in the UK - a project by London Academy of IT

This report provides an overview of my experience as a full stack web developer at the London Academy of IT. I had been assigned with building a community website for the Bengali community residing in the UK from scratch. I have worked on both the front-end and back-end of the website. This report highlights this project I have worked on with the new skills I developed, and the technologies and languages I learned. The primary objective of my internship was to gain more knowledge about certain programming languages and to gain the experience of working as a full stack web developer. The report contains my experience about building a full-on website from scratch. I have worked towards gaining practical knowledge in both front-end and back-end technologies, mostly focusing on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL. I also wanted to strengthen my problem-solving skills. While working on my project, I faced new challenges and difficulties almost everyday, however, I have learned to face those challenges head-on and felt the satisfaction after solving the problems. Overall, this report is an overview of my growth of working as a full stack web developer.

Web Development is the process of designing websites and web applications. It requires coding,maintaining websites and ensuring that they are user-friendly and easy to use on different devices. The frontend development layer is accountable for validating the website’s functionality. It also ensures the website’s functionality as it helps to align with user-centric design principles as well as interactive requirements. Frontend usually employs core technologies such as HTML for structural integrity, CSS for visual styling and responsive layouts and JavaScript to enable dynamic behavior and seamless user engagement. Backend development layer utilizes server side programming language related stuff. These include PHP, Python, Ruby and JavaScript. It also focuses on managing underlying business logic, data processing and seamless integration with the frontend as well as the DBMS structure. It helps to ensure robust functionality , Scalability and secure data handling for the website. Basically, this paper elaborates my internship experience at Beacontech Limited.It is a sister concern of Optimum Solution and Services Ltd.In my internship period, I have participated in projects relating to my field and also I have learned insights into project management, ERP systems and corporate advancement tactics.The report also features the company profile, SWOT analysis and an in-depth perspective of the Beacon ERP system that enhances operations for businesses worldwide.
An internship at GigaTech Solution

This is the sum-up of my internship experience at GigaTech Solution which is a leading development and software company. GigaTech Solution solves gives efficient digital solutions and services. The internship was from April 4, 2025 to October 5, 2025. This Internship was a part of my academic requirement for Computer Science program at Brac University. During the internship I worked as a Junior Web Developer and was doing web designing, developing and maintaining websites. My responsibility was both front-end and back-end development, testing the website features and learning more about framework and tools that are used in development environments. The main objective of my internship was to apply my academic knowledge to the real life development projects and learning about new things to improve my technical skills and gaining practical experience and knowledge. Furthermore, throughout this internship I increased my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and database management and learned about different projects. Finally, I meet with the clients in-person and gain more experience on how the project are delivered and related communication that takes place. Broadly this internship was a valuable experience. In addition, this internship have given me the chance to learn many things and gain practical experience of professional web development. As a result, this increased my professional growth and have prepared me for the future challenges that I might face in the software companies.
An internship report on animation and software development

I completed my internship at TechnoMagic Private Limited, an emerging IT solutions organization in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The company mostly specializes in software development, animation, and game development. Acquired hands-on experience on real projects along with animation principles and project management. This internship at TechnoMagic Company gave me an excellent grasp of animationlevel operations, enabling me to experiment with fundamental approaches in motion design, character movement, and visual narrative. This work experience helped me realize my newly found interest in the technical parts of animation as well as digital marketing, which drove me to learn more about the area. While I initially concentrated on learning the fundamentals, my internship acted as a springboard, providing me with a solid foundation in animation concepts as well as an awareness of the creative and technical collaboration necessary in the business. This internship experience not only taught me the very foundations of animation but also expanded my knowledge of how animation works with technology-driven solutions.

The IT industry has reached its peak growth in this century and continues to grow exponentially with the perpetual rise in demand for better and unique accessible products and services throughout the entire globe. This has forced researchers and developers of profit-making firms to pay keen interest in maximizing profit particularly with the supply of mobile devices for its ever-increasing customer base. Large supply even with a marginal profit led to huge gains in revenue and this economic philosophy is openly and widely implemented by the continuous development of smartphones. With such a rapidly growing industry, developing smartphone apps has become a new phenomenon in the IT sector and Google’s Android operating devices on mobile handsets continue to reign the maximum number of users of the target population. Such potential is indeed grasped by like-minded people and this has led to this internship to follow through. The objective is to master the basics of a programming language (Java), a framework to make development easier and compact (Android) and implementation of the newest and robust User Experience and Performance libraries that Google has already provided for exchange of no expense or monetary value. This brought many challenges that made me spend hours on a single feature/ bug during my internship. The 6 months that I spent during my internship happens to be one of the best learning experiences that I ever had and I continue to cherish those moments that led me become a software engineer in the present.
Bay Emporium Ltd. internship as a front-End web developer

Bay Emporium has grown from a local leather business to a significant exporter of products and footwear. They provide a diverse range of goods for infants to elderly people, male and female. The target market for Bay Emporium consists of urban and suburban locations, as well as middle-class and upper-middle-class Neo traditional clients. Additionally, Bay has split into several other businesses that are part of the same corporation; Jute Alliance Ltd. is a recently launched sister firm. The demand for jute bags has seen an upsurge in sales due to the recent awareness of plastic bags. Moreover, Jute-based crafts seem to have become increasingly well known through various virtual platforms and government initiatives. On top of that, Bangladesh produces 1.6 million tons of jute annually, making it the second largest producer worldwide. Seizing the opportunity, Bay capitalised on the chance and planned to launch an on-demand business. I was subsequently hired as an intern to assist with the front-end design for a static website where the jute goods will be showcased to lure international buyers. I have gained so much knowledge from my seniors thus far, and I have arrived at the realisation that these lessons can only be acquired via practical job experience. Having to work with front-end design has been both enjoyable and difficult for me. Fun since I have constantly appreciated designing, even before I started this job. But more than that, I had only done very basic stuff with HTML and CSS earlier, so my understanding of this was rather restricted. Fortunately, due to this position, I could get advanced level skills in HTML and CSS, as well as work with Bootstrap under the guidance of highly skilled individuals.
Business analyst intern of Inovace Technologies Ltd.

Together with my internship engagement in Inovace Technologies Ltd. I gained skills to make decisions basing on the data and conducting an operational analysis as well as create business procedures that will be used to grow a SaaS and IoT-based enterprise. I received an opportunity to complete daily analytical assignments such as the development of structured documents, exploring sales and growth KPIs, processing CRM data, and preparing pitch decks and internal investment memorandum in favor of potential investors. I also worked on other day-to-day analysis tasks, such as generating reports, market research, and working on cross-functional teams to improve our data pipelines. I needed to acquire new analytical instruments, learn how to coordinate more complicated business operations, and transform raw data into actionable knowledge with the least oversight. I learned that it requires tackling problems effectively and performing independent research to be always up-to-date, meet the deadlines, and keep up with the new systems, all being able to manage a significant amount of analytical tasks. These difficulties compelled me to be disciplined, flexible and critical in my thinking. The experience in this case taught me the importance of addressing real-life issues during the process of business analysis. KPIs, lead funnels, persona analysis, and operational data allowed me to relate classroom theory with a real-life situation. On the whole, the internship was an experience that actually helped me to consider how data can be used to make the strategic decisions in the business with a focus on technologies, and train both my analytical and communication skills in practice.
Customizing solutions: an internship journey in ABAP SAP development and custom reporting at Eitekh ERP LTD

I received invaluable insights, refined essential skills, and made substantial contributions to client engagements thanks to hands-on experience and active participation in real-world projects at Eit ekh ERP Ltd. The paper opens with a detailed examination of a key project that aimed to improve purchase order processing workflow within SAP ERP, highlight ing my role in increasing efficiency, accuracy, and compliance for the client’s retail operations. Then, it digs into a thorough examination of skill development, learn ing outcomes, problems encountered, and solutions applied during the internship. I have reflected on the improvement of my ABAP programming ability, problem solving abilities, communication skills, and time management strategies, emphasiz ing the overall nature of the learning experience. Data management, Analysis and Data Visualization of Majestic Enterprise (PVT.) LTD.

Majestic Enterprise PVT LTD (MEPL) is a processor and exporter of frozen and chilled raw food items, as well as dry food items. The company has been oper ating since 1998 and exporting its products to various countries worldwide. This report is about my internship program at MEPL. In this comprehensive report, I have discussed about my work experiences, the proposed methods, my implemented works and my training experience under MEPL. I have also aimed to highlight some drawbacks of the company from my observation during my internship period. The following tools: Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point and Mi crosoft Power have been used for the documentation of the company’s data and for carrying out proper analysis. This report has been divided into five chapters. The first part of the report is in troduction. The second part of the report is an overview of the company. The third part of the report is about the works that I have learnt from my training un der MEPL. The fourth section of the report discusses about the proposed solutions. For increasing efficiency of inventory management, Standard operating procedures (SOP) and stock-keeping units (SKUs) have been introduced. SOPs describes what needs to happen for an outcome and it helps to simplify the data entry process and avoid errors. SKUs being unique and specific to particular locations allows to keep track of final inventory status more effectively. The fifth part of the report is dis cusses about the internal and external problems faced by the company and about their feasible solutions. Analog data keeping, absence of modulated procurement production schedule and wastage and inventory mismatch are some of the internal problems. Suggesting usage of Enterprise Resource Planning softwares to build a database and manage inventory effectively, raising awareness at critical points and accurate and honest reporting of waste percentage can provide remedy to the above mentioned problems. Increase in Price of Raw Materials and Skilled labor crisis are some of the external problems that the company faces. Building alliance with various shipping line companies, freight forwarding companies and international authority and training the workers under strict supervision and legal contract can help solve the external problems to a great extent. The final and the last part of the report is about my experience gathered from the internship.
Data operations and analysis at Exim Bank PLC

This report presents a comprehensive overview of my three-month internship as a Data Analyst Intern at Exim Bank PLC. The internship was undertaken within the Information Systems and Data Operations Department, where I gained practical experience in managing, verifying, and analysing customer data to ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML). My responsibilities included document verification, data crosschecking, fraud screening, and the preparation of weekly analytical reports. Through these activities, I developed key technical skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and internal banking software systems, while also enhancing my problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. The internship provided valuable insights into the crucial role of data accuracy and integrity in the banking sector, demonstrating how data-driven practices support operational efficiency, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Furthermore, it bridged the gap between academic learning and real-world application, strengthening my understanding of financial data management and its impact on decision-making processes. This experience not only enriched my technical and professional competencies but also influenced my career aspirations toward the fields of data analytics and financial technology.
Design and implementation of integrated software solutions : a case study on hospital management and retail POS systems

This report describes the design and development of two software systems, a Hospital Management System and a POS for a retail cloth store. These were projects accomplished during my internship at Brain Machine AI through modern software engineering methods in solving industrially related challenges. The Hospital Management System aimed at facilitating record keeping for the patients, appointment scheduling, billing process, reporting function. tionalities. On the other hand, the POS system focused on the optimization of inventory management, sales tracking, HRM, and calculation of profit for the retail sector. Developmental life cycles that were developed include requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment, with the use of Django, PHP, SQL, and Git to efficiently collaborate and control versions. This paper brings forth the various challenges that came up during the development phases: handling complex data structures, user-friendly interfaces, and maintenance ing system reliability. Besides, the report presents professional, technical, and interpersonal growth achieved within the internship. Insights and experiences gained through working on these projects significantly added to my skill set, thereby improving my preparedness for various roles related to software engineering and systems development.
Efficient smart OCR solution for banking document digitization

The digitization of multilingual banking documents, particularly those containing handwritten Bengali and English scripts, poses significant challenges due to variable handwriting styles, document noise, and domain-specific terminology. This study presents a hybrid Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and language model–based pipeline designed to achieve high-fidelity text extraction and correction for banking document digitization. The proposed system integrates two stateof- the-art OCR architectures—Tesseract, EasyOCR OCR for robust unstructured Raw text extraction and GPT-3.5,LLaMA-2 for end-toend handwritten text recognition—with advanced language models for post-processing. Bengali text correction is performed using Gemma- 7B and BLOOM-7B, while English text is refined through GPT-3.5 and LLaMA-2 (7B-chat). The dataset comprising paired images and annotations for both languages, undergoes preprocessing, binarization ,noise reduction, skew correction and redundancy filtering before model training and evaluation. Experimental results show substantial improvements in linguistic accuracy and semantic preservation compared to baseline OCR outputs, demonstrating the system’s applicability for real-world multilingual banking document digitization.

HelpHub: an organizational service desk

In corporate world, companies and organizations have multiple departments which ensure the smooth operation of the whole organization. These departments are operated by the employees and administrative staffs who help the organization to serve its clients. While performing their everyday tasks, both the employees and the administrators frequently face various types of issues, that require timely support from different departments of the organization to be resolved. Therefore, every organization needs a service desk to give department-wise support to the requesters in order to resolve their issues. The organization that I did my internship in, had their own online service desks for each of its major divisions. This gave me the idea to develop a web-based organizational Service Desk application named HelpHub, where the requester can ask for support from a specific department according to the issue they are facing by generating a ticket and submitting it to that particular department. Afterwards, the admins who are in charge of controlling the application, assigns the ticket to a support staff from that department, who then resolves the ticket. The requesters can be the employees, administrators, as well as the clients. HelpHub improves communication, ensures timely response and manages overall support operations of the organization and makes the service desk experience more convenient for the users.
Implementing laboratory information management system (LIMS) at National Control Laboratory(NCL), DGDA

This internship report details the development of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for the National Control Laboratory (NCL) of Bangladesh. LIMS software facilitates the organization and management of laboratory data, samples, and procedures. By implementing a LIMS, NCL can streamline daily workflows, enhance data security and accuracy, and significantly reduce manual errors. NCL, under the Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA), plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of drugs available in Bangladesh. They oversee the import, manufacture, and distribution of all medications throughout the country. Currently, NCL relies on manual processes for data entry, report generation, and maintaining an audit trail. This paper describes the development of a LIMS in collaboration with supervisor Tanvir Khan Topu, aiming to automate these tasks and create a centralized data repository. The new LIMS offers significant advantages. It automates data entry and report generation, eliminating the risk of human error and saving valuable time. Additionally, it provides a centralized platform for storing and retrieving laboratory data, ensuring improved accessibility and data integrity.
Information security analyst intern at ONE Bank PLC

The Information Security Analyst Internship at ONE Bank PLC offers a comprehensive learning experience within the Information Technology division, with an emphasis on the challenging field of information security. This internship offers hands-on training regarding latest security protocols, risk management strategies, and compliance measures vital for safeguarding the bank’s not only physical but also digital assets. Throughout the internship, the intern will engage in various activities, including getting hands-on training, monitoring security systems using SIEM solutions, performing vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools, as well as performing penetration testing in a controlled environment. Internship as a Business Analyst and Product Manager at SELISE Digital Platforms

In this era of eCommerce and online shopping, every company needs to have an operational digital work process. The operation is usually completed by a Front End and Back End support. Therefore, only having a static eCommerce website is not enough, we need to have a back-end ERP system to manage and arrange all the orders provided by the customers. As a result, on behalf of SELISE, I was responsible for making an ERP system for one of our clients. The purpose of this document is to deliver my experience and knowledge working at SELISE Digital Platforms as a Business Analyst Product manager for my CSE400 internship course. I’m working on making an ERP system for a co↵ee brand known as ViCAFE, from Switzerland. To have smooth operational work, and processing orders to deliver them to the end customer, ViCAFE is in need of an ERP system.

This report details my learning and experiences from my internship at Headroom Group as a front-end developer intern. I was fully engaged in the dynamic and everevolving field of web development throughout 6 months, with a primary focus on front-end technologies and methods. I worked on a number of projects throughout the internship with the goals of improving user interface design, boosting website speed, and using responsive web design concepts. During my internship as a frontend developer at Headroom Group, I worked on a variety of web projects, which helped me expand my abilities and obtain real-world experience. I worked with the programming team, took part in code reviews, and helped with the user interface design throughout my internship. I’ll go over my main duties, the technologies I worked on developing my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and contemporary frontend frameworks like React.js, the difficulties I ran into, and the insightful things I discovered throughout my internship in my report. I will also draw attention to particular projects where I significantly improved the user interface and general functionalities. I worked directly with senior developers and designers to create visually beautiful and interactive web applications from wireframes and mock-ups. In order to provide a seamless user experience, I also helped to ensure cross-browser compatibility and enhance accessibility standards. This report outlines my experiences, contributions, the difficulties encountered, the abilities developed, and the successes attained throughout the internship. It examines how theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom is put to use in real-world situations, as well as how professional development is achieved through mentor-ship and practical experience.
