Item Developing an adaptive model for customer service conversations: leveraging affective anthropomorphic intelligent systems to enhance customer emotion and trust(BRAC University, 2025-02) Angon, Argha Protim; Ahmed, Asif; Mashrur, Shadman Muhtadi; Farea, Sadia Anjum; Rahman, Mahabubur; Alam, Md. Golam RabiulIn the field of customer service, effectively managing customer emotions is crucial for building trust and enhancing customer satisfaction. This paper presents an adap- tive model leveraging affective anthropomorphic intelligent systems to detect and respond to customer emotions in real-time, thereby improving the quality of customer service interactions. Our approach integrates several AI models: a speech-to-text (STT) model to transcribe customer speech, an emotion detection model to analyze emotional states, and a large language model to generate contextually appropriate responses. Additionally, we introduce a novel AI model capable of detecting emotions based on the tone and intensity of the customer’s voice, significantly enhancing the system’s ability to interpret emotional nuances. The proposed system is designed to emulate human-like empathy and adaptability, addressing customer queries with sensitivity to their emotional state. Through rigorous testing and evaluation, our model demonstrates superior performance in emotion detection and response generation, highlighting its potential to transform customer service by fostering greater customer trust and satisfaction"Item Development of Lichee Lolly Ice Cream & Assessment It's Quality(Daffodil International University, 2018-12-23) Rahman, MahabuburIn this study found that Lichi flavor in lolly ice carem , Brix-21 , acidity-0.19 – Density 1.072, microbiological tests—Total count ->330, coliform-o. After getting the test, I found the results of the results., and coliform have been found at certain levels which will not cause any harm to the human body. Rather it will be beneficial.Item Double blind randomized trial of nalidxic acid and amplicillin in the treatment of childhood shigellosis(1985-01-21) Salam, Abdus; Hossain, Shahadat; Rahman, Mahabubur; Bennish, M.Item Estimation Of Fecundity And Gonadosomatic Index (Gsi) Of Paradise Threadfin, Polynemus Paradiseus (Linnaeus, 1758) From The Meghna River Estuary, Bangladesh(Daffodil International University, 2013-07) Rahman, Md. Mofizur; Sultana, Afrin; Hasan, Mehedi Mahmudul; Sarker, Bhakta Supratim; Rahman, MahabuburThe present investigation was conducted to assess the fecundity and gonadosomatic index of female Polynemus paradiseus (L.) of the Meghna river estuary during the spawning season. A total of 75 samples were collected from local fish markets Chairmanghat, Sonapur and Maijdee of Noakhali. Mean total length and mean body weight of the collected fish samples were 16.38 ± 0.29 cm and 25.01 ± 1.45g respectively. The mean total fecundity was found 11383.33 ± 343.35.Variation in fecundity, GSI, total length, body weight and gonad weight of the studied species was found across the spawning season (April- June). Gonadosomatic index was found higher in May-June than April. The relationships of fecundity with body length, body weight and gonad weight were found to be linear and correlation coefficient (r) values were 0.6861, 0.7823 and 0.8049 respectively. The linear relationship between body weight and fecundity was found more valid than the relationship between body length and fecundity. The present study revealed that the fecundity of P. paradiseus was comparatively low than other estuarine fish species. Basic information on the size at sexual maturity and fecundity of P. paradiseus will be helpful to evaluate reproductive potential of individual fish species in similar studies.Item Quality Assurance Department at Dhaka Ice-cream Industry(Daffodil International University, 2018-12-23) Rahman, MahabuburThis study shows how to maintain the hygiene production and quality control of food &Ice-cream. The industrial attachment program has covered both hygiene production and quality control of food products. To ensure hygiene production and quality control different types of test parameter including Physical, Chemical, Microbiological has been taken. Actually a BSTI standard maintains or regulates its quality parameter. Physical and chemical tests are done routinely in the lab. Microbiological test is also important especially for final product.Item Rapid diagnosis of cholera by coagglutination test using 4-h fecal enrichment cultures(1987) Rahman, Mahabubur; Sack, David A.; Mahmood, Saleh; Hossain, AnowarItem Study on Faults of Garments Washing(Daffodil International University, 2018-12-24) Rahman, A.K.M Arifur; Sharma, Amit; Rahman, MahabuburGarments washing is one of the most important process for change the outlook of garments and also improve garments quality. The quality of washing is depends on the whole process. And the process includes all the chemicals, machineries, operations and the skills of the operator. It is very important to maintain process sequence to achieve the require washing result. This report we present after wash what kind of defect we saw in garments. In this report we collected data from Cutting Edge Washing Plant, MBM Group. This report we find various types of washing defect in garments such as shade light, shade dark, pp less, pp more, tint less, tint more, grinding, crease mark & spot. Most defect we found in shade dark. Which percentage is 19.82 & less defect we found in grinding which percentages is 1.19. Over all this report helps us to understand the fault of after wash garments.Item Youth Participation in Social Networking Sites (SNSs) in Bangladesh: A Study on Impact of Changing Patterns of Communication and Interpersonal Relationship on Personal Life(University of Rajshahi, 2016) Rahman, Mahabubur; Panday, Pradip KumarThe present study shades some light on the changing patterns of communication and interpersonal relationship of youth of Bangladesh through Social Networking Sites (SNSs) and their impact on the personal life of them. To date there has not been a study in Bangladesh which directly analyze SNSs role in the changing patterns of communication and interpersonal relationship of youth of Bangladesh. The present study focuses on three aspects: 1) SNSs uses patterns among youth of Bangladesh 2) SNSs role in changing patterns of communication and interpersonal relationship on personal life of the youth of Bangladesh 3) SNSs impact on the personal life of youth of Bangladesh. To fulfill the objectives of the study, two groups of university students were assembled: 1) SNSs user group (students who are using only Face book as SNS) 2) SNSs non-user group (students who are not using any SNS). The study draws an overall picture of SNSs uses pattern of university students of Bangladesh qualitatively. The qualitative data is also supplemented by quantitative data. Data have been collected by means of interviews. University of Rajshahi has been selected as the location of the present study. 90 students (45 from the users' group and 45 from the non-users' group) of this university have been interviewed using structured and semi-structured questionnaires respectively. The study charts the impact of SNSs by comparing family relationship, love affairs, friendship, study habit, social interaction, entertainment/time-passing habit and sleep time of SNSs user group and the non-user group. The data is presented in tables and figures. The differences in above seven issues between the two groups are then analyzed. The findings of the study suggest that traditional interpersonal relationship patterns with friends, families and boyfriends/girlfriends are enjoying a colossal change with the elusive touch of SNSs. The study reveals that SNSs have a positive impact on the social interaction of university students of Bangladesh. On the other hand, the findings also show that, SNSs impact adversely on the traditional study, sleeping and entertainment habit of the young users. The result of the study clearly indicates that, SNSs impacts negatively on the traditional interpersonal relationship patterns of the youth of Bangladesh. The study suggests that new media literacy is essential for the youth of Bangladesh so that they can understand its positive and negative impact.
