    A binary hyper redundant elephant trunk like robot controlled by microcontroller and plc-wincc

    The word hyper-redundant refers to the robot manipulators that have a large or infinite degrees of kinematic redundancy. These robots resemble in shape and operation to snakes, elephant trunks, or tentacles and thus termed bio-inspired. Binary actuation, here in this study pneumatic cylinder, was the mechanical analogy to digital electronics, where actuators flip between two discrete states on and off. For applications where high repeatability, low cost, no necessity for feedback control and reasonable accuracy are required, hyper-redundant binary manipulators based on parallel platform are potential candidates. Here, in this study two different algorithms have been applied to control the robot, a 5-module binary robot built with the aim of demonstrating the potentials of hyper-redundant binary manipulator based on parallel mechanism. The Microcontroller, based on Genetic Algorithm (GA for solving inverse kinematics problem of the binary mechanism) along with a connecting board to the solenoid valves, was found to be a successful controller of the Elephant Trunk like Robot with some ineluctable drawbacks analyzed in detail. Afterword PLC controller was implemented where WINCC acted as the Human Machine Interface (HMI) and considered as a primary solver of the limitations appeared by the Microcontroller with remaining few constraints itself too. A 3-D model of the robot has been drawn in Solid Work and analyzed the motion of the robot with the help of COSMOS Motion Analysis in Solid Work 2010. The program for controlling 30 solenoid valves of 5 module robot (each module 6 cylinders) with 30 inputs and 30 outputs was written in PLC. Visual graphics for both manual and automatic mode control were drawn in WINCC. And finally a substantial comparison between two controllers was made

    A Secured Peer-to-Peer Messaging System Based on Blockchain

    Nowadays, the messaging system is one of the most popular mobile applications, and therefore the authentication between clients is essential. Various kinds of such mobile applications are using encryption-based security protocols, but they are facing many security threat issues. It clearly defines the necessity for a trustful security procedure. Therefore, a blockchain-based messaging system could be an alternative to this problem. That is why, we have developed a secured peer-to-peer messaging system supported by blockchain. This proposed mechanism provides data security among the users. In a blockchain-based framework, all the information can be verified and controlled automatically and all the transactions are recorded that have been created already. In our paper, we have explained how the users can communicate through a blockchain-based messaging system that can maintain a secured network. We explored why blockchain would improve communication security in this post, and we proposed a model architecture for blockchain-based messaging that retains the performance and security of data stored on the blockchain. Our proposed architecture is completely decentralized and enables users to send and receive messages in an acceptable and secure manner.

    A Study on The Mechanical Properties of Epoxy/Coconut Fiber Composites

    We have fabricated the Epoxy/Coconut Fiber by hand lay-up technique and studied its mechanical properties by universal testing machine, Impact testing meeting and microhardness testing machine. We observed the tensile strength, impact strength and Vicker’s microhardness from the Epoxy/Coconut Fiber composite which are 510 MPa, 10 J and 132.76 HV respectively. We compared the properties obtained from the Epoxy/Coconut Fiber composite with the properties of Epoxy/Banana Fiber composite and Epoxy/Coconut Fiber composite proved itself better in terms of mechanical properties.

    A Web-Based Application Public Vaccine Management System (PVMS)

    The novel Coronavirus, which was first seen in the city of China's Wuhan, and this virus, have terrorized our entire planet. Many people have been infected by covid-19 and 4 million have died. It is mandatory to vaccinate our people for saving their life. In the meantime, many countries and pharmaceutical companies have invented the vaccine and supplied it to many countries and even Bangladesh. Therefore, it is our first duty save our people by vaccinating them, but it is very challenging to vaccinate this huge population properly and keep a record of all the people who have been vaccinated. To do that difficult task we can use a modern and advanced technology Public Vaccine Management System (PVMS) for covid-19. Which can be used for everything from vaccinating citizens to distribution in the city center. In addition, keep their data records very accurately. I hope that this smart Vaccine Management system could be an effective solution now.

    Bank is the financial institution that commits funds today in order to receive a return in the future. Bank involves providing several types of banking services to their clients. Agricultural banking is one of the prominent banking services found in the banking sector. Their motto is to helping the agricultural sector and all the sub sector of agriculture that has greater importance in eradicating the poverty. Agricultural banking is needed very much to the people residing in the rural area. They get loan facilities from the banks and promote the standard of living by engaging the total effort to the agricultural purpose. Some specialized banks are formed to focus on the agricultural sector in the rural area. There is a little number of private banks in Bangladesh to provide assistance to the agricultural sector. Since the northern part of Bangladesh is fall under the negligence due to industrial sector much more emphasis should be given to the agricultural sector. The detail analysis on the agricultural banking in the northern part of Bangladesh taking farmers as the respondents in the rural area the situation of agricultural banking is critically analyzed and interpreted. There are also some suggestions in regards to the agricultural banking, its prospects and its contribution to poverty reduction and economic development.

    Credit rating : operation and effectiveness

    This report is written on credit rating, operation and effectiveness and functions of domestic Credit Rating Agencies a study on National Credit Ratings Limited. This report addresses definition of credit rating and its benefits, methodology followed by NCR, context of Basel II, current practices in Bangladesh and recommendation and thereon. The credit rating system emerged as a private sector institution in the middle of the 19th century. Although the concept of credit rating emerged in early twentieth century in the financial market of USA, it is still new in the developing countries like Bangladesh and no rating agency was licensed in the country till 2002, hence no rating was published .Currently there are 08 recognized external credit rating institutions are operating in Bangladesh which is more than the requirement considering the size of our economy. Established regulatory framework and regulatory body is there to monitor the activities of the credit rating companies CRAs act as corporate gatekeepers to bridge the gap of asymmetric information between lenders, investors and issuers about the creditworthiness of companies or business. Credit rating is the assessment of the credit worthiness of a particular borrower with reference to a particular debt or financial obligations. It has certain advantages like Market access, Build up market reputation, Lower cost of funding, distinguish oneself from the competition, Regulatory Requirement, Enables quicker processing of loans and enchantments and independent view of the entity‟s strengths and weakness. With the implementation of Basel II in the context of Pillar 1, a regulatory capital requirement for credit risk is calculated according to two alternative approaches: (I) the Standardized Approach; and (ii) the Internal Ratings-Based Approach. The Standardized Approach is generally conducted worldwide by independent Credit Rating Agency (CRA).Different methodology is followed while conducting the rating. As in Bangladesh there is quite a few number of credit rating agencies operating in Bangladesh fierce competition exist which allows rating as shopping with low price and conflict of interests. Few standards need to follow by all the credit rating company to judge a rating. Regulatory bodies should monitor the credit rating agencies activities more closely to establish an additional layer of safety and incorporate proper guidelines so that it is useful for the parties involved, borrower as well as financial institutions.

    Deformation Behaviour and Mechanical Response of Closed-cell Cellular Materials under Projectile Impact Using Various Shapes Impactors

    Closed-cell cellular materials gained tremendous interest in their application in aerospace, shipbuilding and defence industries due to their exceptional impact energy absorption and lightweight characteristics. To assess the suitability of these materials in practical utilisation, a proper characterisation in dynamic loading is necessary. This paper investigates closed-cell aluminium foam's deformation behaviour due to low-velocity projectile impact in experimentation and finite element analysis. The collapse mechanism was numerically and empirically examined. The experiment and the finite element analysis were found to be in good agreement. The lowvelocity projectile impact tests were conducted using an instrumented drop-tower with several projectile tips with an impact energy of 105 J. Finite Element modelling using ABAQUS explicit was undertaken. The results reveal that FE modelling of true foam properties using solid geometry has a good correlation with experimental results. In this study, four impactors/indenters (flat-faced, hemispheric, conical, and truncated-conical) were used. A detailed structural collapse during the low-velocity dynamic impact has been explored with XCT data and finite element tools.

    Design and Analysis of Field Oriented Control of Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor

    This research project is about Field Oriented Control strategies for Permanent Magnet Brushless DC (PMBLDC) Motor. In PMBLDC Motor for Field Oriented Control direct axis reference current Id ref is considered zero, therefore forces the current space vector in the quadrature direction. Since only the quadrature axis current produces useful torque, this maximizes the torque efficiency of the system. Three PMBLDC Motor Control systems are designed, namely (1) Sinusoidal Current Regulated Pulse Width Modulation (CRPWM) Control, (2) Square Wave Current Regulated Pulse Width Modulation Control and (3) Voltage Regulated Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation Control. A state space model consisting three phase currents, three phase voltages, speed and position is developed. For testing, C++ simulation programs are designed for these three control strategies. The performance of the proposed control methods are studied for starting condition, load torque changes, speed variation, stator resistance changes and initial rotor angle mismatch condition. We have observed that Field Orientation Control methods have good performance and speed response. But speed response in Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation Control is better. Overall performance of all three control methods are proved satisfactory for speed control. A simple experiment is also done in the laboratory with a prototype design by using customized software in an electronic control board with integrated inverter. There is a built in position sensor embedded on the motor. The system was run in open loop and found to work satisfactorily.

    Different Types of Sewing Faults and Their Remedies

    This project is ‘Study on sewing problem and their remedies’ of “KAC Fashion Wear Ltd.” Garment manufacturing is quite different from any other conventional manufacturing. It is not a continuous production method. Each style is a different product that requires a different type of fabric, color, buttons, thread, etc. Sewing process is one of the most important stages in labor intensive ready-made clothing enterprises. Quality faults occurring during this process adversely affect the product quality and product efficiency, and also increase the production cost. The aim of this study is to investigate whether the knit production process is under control in a knit production enterprise and to detect the processes with the highest rates of sewing faults in sewing department and finally to make suggestions for improving the quality control. Also, the processes with highest amounts of sewing faults and the effects of these processes on fault rates were investigated. Finally after 7 Days end line inspection inspector inspect Total 3,330 pitches of garments, 2,633 pitches quality passed, 21 pitches rejects, and 565 defects and alter 650 pitches. Here, Pass gmts percentage 52%, Defects percentage 10.5%, Reject percentage 0.64%, Alter percentage 11.25% and After 7 Days end line inspection inspector inspect total 448 defects found. Here, 7 Days end line inspection Reports most defects are-Uncut Thread 33Brocken Stc 46,Rawedge 71, Up down 67,Skip Stc 47,Pleat 52,Join stc 28,Open seam 65. Finally, we have found different types of sewing faults by Sewing machine and operator. We are also mentioning remedies for specific reasons which all are included in this project report. We also included some end line inspection report of “KAC Fashion Wear Limited.

    Diu auditorium booking system

    We are going to develop a project named “DIU Auditorium Booking System” that will help the users for booking university Auditorium for a specific date. In that Auditorium system we divided it into two parts one is Admin and another is Public or Users panel. The users can easily book their desire Auditorium by using this Auditorium Booking System. Firstly, the users select campus and then checked auditorium which belongs that campus and finally they can have booked their auditorium on a specific date. Before booked they’ve to registered with a form in our system. After they can select the time schedule. If their desire time schedule is available or free for that date they can have booked it and they get an acknowledgement by our system. In admin panel, the administrator can be adding new campus, auditorium which can be edit, delete or updated by there’s desire. They can also approve or reject the user’s auditorium booking request. Through this application the university will be able to manage their auditorium booking service digitally. Therefore, the system will also be helpful for external users for booking our university campus auditorium. The system will be effective for teachers, students and others university stuff.

    Effect of Land-Use Intensity on Surface Temperature A Study on Chittagong City Corporation Area

    Heat and temperature is on the news of the air in the today's world. High temperatures in urban areas have a direct impact on human health and are associated with heat related problems and excess summer deaths. This study is carried out to know the trend of land surface temperature and assess the impact of land use intensity on temperature in the Chittagong City Corporation Area, Bangladesh. A general linear model was used to estimate surface temperatures using Landsat TM, ETM+ and OLI_TIRS are used in the year 1991, 2003 and 2015 the months of May. Land use and its environmental effects can be quantitatively defined by land-use intensity. In this study, land use intensity metric was improved using a geographic mapping method.     Finite Element Prediction of Deformation of Closed-cell Cellular Materials for Sustainable Materials Characterization

    Finite Element (FE) method is an essential tool for sustainable materials characterisation without continuous destruction of materials such as conventional materials characterisation techniques. This study presents the prediction of deformation behaviour of closed-cell metal foams subjected to low-velocity impact using FE analysis. The deformation process was investigated both numerically and experimentally, and a good agreement was found between the experiment and FE analysis. The impact tests were conducted using a drop-tower with various shaped impactors with impact energies of 114J. FE modelling using ABAQUS explicit was undertaken to explore the deformation of the closed-cell metal foams. The results show that FE modelling using solid geometry of actual foam properties demonstrates a close correlation with experimental results. Two impactors (a flat-faced and a hemispheric) were used in this investigation.

    Impact of Early Childbearing on the Health of the Mother and Child: A Statistical Study

    Recent research has document the focus of rapidly growing interest on adolescents’ and their child health in the developing and under developed countries because of its important implications not only for the health of mother but also their children. Early childbearing is an important indicator for women’s and their child health. Body mass index is an indicator of nutritional status in a population. This indicator provides the circumstances that can assist intervention to help eradicate many preventable diseases. Health impact of teenage childbearing is not only due to socio-demographic factors but also due to biological factors. Women early age at first marriage were associated with early childbearing and early childbearing is considered as a risk factor for poor prenatal outcomes. There is a need to study demographic trends particularly trends in marriage under the framework of “basic need strategy”. The objectives of “basic need strategy” among others are to eradicate poverty, unemployment, hunger and literacy is considered as a major precondition for achieving population goals and the participation of women in development. The main objective of this study is to evaluate and analyze the impact of early childbearing on the mother and their child health of rural and urban community in Bangladesh. The specific objectives were: first one, to find the effect of socio-demographic factors on early childbearing mother’s health; second one, to investigate the changes in age at first marriage of Bangladeshi women over time and third one, to estimate the parameters involving in the age patterns of marriage and evaluate the patterns (using single year age distributions) of distributions of first marriage frequencies and risks of the first marriages of ever married women in Bangladesh. Finally, the purposes of the study were to demonstrate the applicability of the generalized Poisson regression (GPR) model as an alternative of other statistical methods and to find some predictors of child malnutrition in Bangladesh. Considering the reproductive women (age 15-49 years), data was extracted from Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey in this study. For measuring mothers’ health a sample of 1908 ever-married women of age 10-24 were used from the total sample of 10,966. For investigate the age at first marriage and its trends over time, data for 47,109 married Bangladeshi women from 1944-1985 were analyzed. To estimate the parameters of Coale’s nuptiality model and evaluate the patterns of distributions of first marriage frequencies also risks of the first marriages of ever married women in Bangladesh, eventually all of 10,996 ever married women from age 15 to 49 years were taken. To examine the health problem and risks faced by early childbearing mothers’ children in Bangladesh a total sample of 3,207 were extracted. Logistic regression was used to examine the relative importance of socio-demographic factors on early childbearing mothers’ health. ANOVA and linear regression analysis were used to investigate the changes in age at first marriage of Bangladeshi women over four decades. The first marriage frequency and risk of first marriage of women was estimated by Coale and McNeil (1972) model. This model considered five year age group of population. In the present study single year age distribution of ever married female in Bangladesh has been considered. Finally for measuring child health Chi-square test and GPR model were used. More than 33 percent early childbearing mothers have been suffering from chronic energy deficiency, among them 35.4 percent came from rural and 26.9 percent from urban. The BMI varied from 11.95 kg/m2 to 37.79 kg/m2, with a mean of 19.86 ± 2.70 kg/m2 (95% CI: 19.74-19.98). About 15.7 percent women fall below the cutoff of 145 centimeters in height. A decreasing trend was found in the number of CED women with increasing educational level. Student t-test revealed that caesarean mother had a higher BMI than non-caesarean mother (p < 0.001. The coefficients and odds ratio of logistic regression analysis demonstrated that early childbearing mothers who were from rural areas, illiterate, hard laborer, unemployed partner, poorest, non-caesarian, delivered at home, earlier age at first marriage, early age at first birth, having two or more children, were at higher risk for getting chronic energy deficiency (underweight). Based on Wald statistics (16.258) we conclude that age at first marriage was the most influential variable on early childbearing and undernourished mother in Bangladesh. The mean and median age at first marriage of ever married Bangladeshi women was 14.73 ±2.96 years and 14.00 years, respectively; rural women got marriage significantly (p<0.01) earlier than urban women. More than 85 percent (rural 87.6 percent and urban 78.2 percent) Bangladeshi women got marriage before they reached 18 years old, among them 17.0 percent (rural 18.5 percent and urban 13.1 percent) got marriage very early age (before 13 years old). The present study demonstrated that the age at first marriage of ever married Bangladeshi women was showing increasing tendency with changing time. Using ANOVA, age at first marriage for rural and urban showed significant (p<0.01) differences among the birth year cohorts from 1944 to 1985 of the present sample. However, the slope of linear regression line indicated that age at first marriage for both rural and urban women exhibited increasing tendency during the investigated period. Also, the present study demonstrated that the child marriage among Bangladeshi women showed slightly decreasing tendency during birth year cohorts from 1944 to 1985. Coale’s model was used to find the age pattern of marriage among Bangladeshi women. The model gave us interesting results. Most of female got married before the age of 20 years with almost 100 percent getting married by the time they reach age 30. In Bangladesh the legal age of marriage is 18 years old for the women; however a large proportion (about 95 percent) of marriages below this age still take place. The GPR model has been found to be reasonable to study the outcome variable because of its under-dispersion (variance < mean) property. Our study also identify several significant predictors of the outcome variable namely; region, place of residence, father’s and mother’s education, mothers occupation, wealth index, delivery system, place of delivery, source of drinking water of the household, toilet facility, and total number of children ever born to a woman. These above results suggest that for improving health status of Bangladeshi early childbearing mothers, are need to improve the literacy. The result also suggest that age at first marriage of Bangladeshi women has been increasing for last four decades, and increasing rate of urban women is faster than rural women. Moreover, the study confirms that marriage still remains a universal phenomenon among females in Bangladesh. Early marriage prevails that marriage not only start early but progresses fast and are concentrated within a short span of time at least in the female population. Consistencies of our findings we suggest that the GPR model is an ideal alternative of other statistical models for analyzing child malnutrition in a family.

    Influence of sintering time on diffusion bonding of WC-10Co and AISI4340 by spark plasma sintering

    It is challenging to obtain successful bonding between cemented tungsten carbide and steel due to the large differences in their physical and mechanical properties. We used spark plasma sintering (SPS) technique and successfully bonded WC-10Co and AISI4340 high-strength steel at a low temperature. The effects of sintering time (5–20 min with a gap of 5 min) on their diffusion bonding were examined. The microstructure of the bonded composite materials was evaluated, and formed phases were identified. The mechanical properties were investigated, and the importance of processing parameters of SPS was discussed. The results show a crackfree continuous metallurgical bonding achieved at 1000°C, and the bonding strength increased with increasing holding times of 5, 10, 15, and 20 min. The sintered WC-10Co powders obtained nearly full density (99.07%) with an average maximum hardness of 1763 HV5. A special arrangement was used to determine the tensile bonding-strength with maximum average of 152 MPa at 20 min.

    Internship Report on “Analysis of the Marketing Strategies of Shamolima Limited”

    Depending on a three months internship experience, this report provides a comprehensive examination of the marketing practice of Shamolima Limited. During this period, I had the opportunity to closely observe and participate in the various marketing practices within the organization which allowed me to acquire practical knowledge and experience on companies overall marketing functions, field work, customer engagement. The entire study and the final report on study was conducted to light up the analysis of the marketing strategies of Shamolima Limited mainly a logistics and project support services provider in Bangladesh. This report is divided different sections & chapters and particularly focused on the marketing functions of Shamolima Limited. To make the report more accurate and informative I tried to get insight into Shamolima Limited operations. I have closely observed their services that it offers to its target audience. I got the opportunity to interact with some of its customers and opportunity to participate in field operation. All of my experience related to logistics operation and marketing functions of Shamolima were included in this report. Despite the fact that there was certain confidential information is not presented in this report as the company policy inclusion of which could make the report more insightful. Still this report was a complete reflection based on my personal experience, knowledge, findings and challenges on my internship tenure within Shamolima Limited. It concludes with the critical findings, data analysis and recommendations to enhance the marketing analysis of Shamolima Limit.

The report has been made with the help of Sonali Bank Limited, Corporate Branch Dinajpur officials and some third party sources that are being appropriately cited. At first, he report includes a short introduction of the organization. Then discuss institutional profile along with its history. The products /services, organizational organogram and the mission-vision of the company have also been reviewed. As I am working as an intern at Sonali Bank Limited, Corporate Branch Dinajpur, there are certain responsibilities of main. I have gathered a lot of new experiences. I have observed many things and had the opportunity to stay in touch with the very helpful employees of Sonali Bank Limited, Corporate Branch Dinajpur. All these things are also reviewed. Afterwards, the main body of the report starts. The different topics are divided among many parts for the convenience of understanding. Export, import and remittance, as a function of foreign exchange, was discussed briefly. Then, the analysis part includes the performance evaluation of the foreign exchange department. The report has ended with some findings, recommendations and conclusions.

    Numerical Modeling of Low-Velocity Impact on Composite Laminates

    The response over the low-velocity impact of various shape impactors on a glass fiber reinforced polymer composite has been numerically analyzed with a hemispherical, flat, partially flat and truncated shaped impactor used to analyze the behavior of resistance of a GFRP composite at various speeds. The numerical analysis was carried out using finite element analysis software, ABAQUS (Dynamic/Explicit). To assess the response of the composite laminates while impacting, finite element models were developed. The Hashin failure criteria were used to represent braided glass-fiber reinforced composite plate damage. Regarding projectile shape, the impact reaction of the composite was examined. The results also show that the mechanical response of woven glass fiber polymer composite under low-velocity projectile impact largely depends on the impactor’s nose shape and the velocity of the impactor.

    PD controller for balancing an inverted pendulumn cart

    In the arena of Control theory and Engineering, balancing of an inverted pendulum by moving a carrier (cart) along a horizontal track, is a classical problem for the commencers to analyze its dynamics as it continually moves toward an unstable state. Numerous physical models resembling to the same include Flight Simulation of rocket or missile during the initial stages of flight, Simulation of dynamics of a robotic arm, Model of a human standing still etc. Many researches concentrating on this field have been using different control algorithms and design techniques from PID controller, state space, neural network, genetic algorithm (GA) to particle swam optimization (PSO), in both digital and analog domain using various sensors. However, this can also be performed using a single potentiometer as a sensor and PD controller as the design algorithm. The difference between the reference (zero voltage) and potentiometer (voltage difference due to change in resistance) generates control signal to drive the system. Here, in this work, it consists of a thin vertical rod attached at the bottom (pivot point), mounted on a mobile toy car. The car, depending upon the direction of the deflection of the pendulum moves horizontally in order to bring the pendulum to absolute rest. The main idea behind this control process was the use of PD (Proportional and Derivative) controller to generate signal to control the speed and direction of the motor. The only sensor used in this project was a potentiometer. It was attached to the pendulum rod and the variation in its resistance caused change in voltage across it which was compared with the reference voltage (zero) to generate the appropriate control signal. PROTIUS software was used for circuit simulation, frequency responses of the system were analyzed in MATLAB with different values of gains, KP and KD, and finally the Root Locus diagram showing the system stability was drawn in MATLAB.

    Relationship of Hardness and Invitro Release Profile of Different Brands of Indapamide (SR) Tablet Available in Bangladesh

    Purpose: The objective of this research work was to evaluate the relationship between hardness and in vitro release profile of different brands of Indapamide(SR) tablet available in Bangladesh. Method: Three different brands of Indapamide(SR) tablets namely Repress(SR), Hypen(SR) and Indapa(SR) marketed by Square Pharmaceuticals ltd. Opsonin Pharma Ltd and Drug International respectively were collected from the market and evaluated the hardness and dissolution profile of these tablets. The release profile of Indapamide(SR) was investigated by using the method inscribed in Appendix XII B: Dissolution tests for tablets and capsules of British Pharmacopoeia. Hardness of these tablets were measured by"hardness tester (Veego, Germany) and dissolution of the taken samples were investigated using (RC6, Vanguard Pharmaceuticals, USA) dissolution tester to evaluate the relationship between the hardness of the tablet and the rate of dissolution. Result: The mean hardness value of the Indapamide(SR) tablets were found. Repress(SR) 110.37 N, Hypen(SR) 59.91 Nand Indapa(SR) 15.09 N and the rate of dissolution of these different brands of Indapamide was found Repress(SR) 0.00016 mg. ml , Hypen(SR) 0.00018 mg/ml and Indapa(SR) 0.0018 mg/ml when the absorbance \\as measured at 275 nm. Conclusion: There is a direct relation between the hardness of the tablet and the rate of dissolution. The dissolution rate was inversely proportional to the hardness of the tablet.

    Stock Market Prediction of Bangladesh Using Multivariate Long Short-Term Memory With Sentiment Identification

    The prediction of stock market trends is a challenging task due to its dynamic and volatile nature. Research has shown that predicting the stock market, especially in developing nations like Bangladesh, is challenging due to the presence of multiple external factors in addition to technical ones. To address this, this study proposed a novel dataset that includes not only technical stock market data from 2014 to 2021, but also external factors such as news sentiment and other economic indicators like inflation, gross domestic product (GDP), exchange rate, interest rate, and current balance. The goal is to provide a comprehensive view of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the largest stock market in Bangladesh. The main objective of this study is to predict the trend of DSE by taking into account both technical stock market data and relevant external factors, and to compare the predictions made with and without using external factors. The study utilized a multivariate long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network for the stock market trend prediction. The experimental results showed that the use of external factors improved the accuracy of the LSTM-based stock market trend predictions by approximately 24%.
