    A Comparative Analysis between Rural and Urban Students’ Performance in Speaking English at the SSC level in Bangladesh

    English has achieved the status of most learned and studied language in the world. In Bangladesh, English is taught as a subject from primary to higher secondary level and the objective of the curriculum in secondary level is to develop learners’ communicative competence. Among the four skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing), speaking is one of the most fundamental skills for achieving communicative competence. The development of learners’ speaking skill is influenced by several factors. This study aims at finding out the institutional, socio-economic, affective and linguistic factors that impact the development of speaking skill at the SSC level in Bangladesh. Besides, it makes a comparative analysis between rural and urban students’ performance in speaking English as well as determines the reasons behind the difference in speaking performance. The study was conducted in mixed method approach by following convergent parallel design. The data were collected from 10 ELT classroom, 200 students and 20 teachers of secondary schools in Noakhali district and Dhaka city. Both qualitative and quantitative data were collected using questionnaires, speaking test, semi-structured interview and classroom observation checklist. The quantitative data was analyzed by using Microsoft Excel, SPSS 25 Version, and AMOS 26. Besides, simple statistics like frequency, mean, and percentage have been employed throughout the study. The qualitative data was analyzed using both content analysis and thematic analysis approach. The findings from the data analysis reveal that though socio-economic, affective and linguistic factors have influence in the development of speaking skill, institutional factors play the most influential role in developing learners’ English speaking skill at the SSC level in Bangladesh. Besides, the findings also affirm that the urban students do better than the rural ones in speaking performance. The main reasons of the difference between rural and urban students’ speaking performance are differences in teachers' qualification, training, and English language proficiency; learners' own linguistic knowledge and psychological issues; parents' education and income; and institutional facilities. The study concludes with some recommendations for the teachers, students, administrators and parents considering the findings of the study and some suggestions for further studies based on the limitations and findings of the study.

    A Computer Vision Based Food Recognition Approach for Controlling Inflammation to Enhance Quality of Life of Psoriasis Patients

    Deep learning becomes the spotlight in computer vision based recognition approaches in recent years. Psoriasis affects people of all ages around the world and causes inflammation on the skin with significant systemic disability and illness. Inflammatory foods increase inflammation rapidly, patients can easily control inflammation to enhance the quality of life by eliminating these foods from their everyday diet. This paper addresses a rapid food recognition approach to assist psoriasis patients to recognize fifteen highly inflammatory foods. Using image augmentation techniques, a dataset of 41250 images of different inflammatory foods have generated from 10000 images. AlexNet, VGG16, and EfficientNet-B0 have used in this study using the transfer learning approach, and EfficientNet-B0 has achieved the highest accuracy of 98.63% under the test set of 5250 images. AlexNet and VGG16 have achieved 87.22% and 93.79% accuracy, respectively. EfficientNet-B0 has consumed the lowest time in recognizing unseen images compared to others.

    An Analysis of the Marketing Activities of Spellbound Leo Burnett

    Spellbound began with the idea that when the brand acts for life, a brand's life is strong. A visionary man began a remarkable journey in 1935 through his name, Leo Burnett, in the land of possibilities of that time and became one of the world's 100 most influential people in the 20th century by generating influence on ideas and the philosophy of humanity. This report has been prepared to precisely identify the marketing activities, active marketing mix of Spellbound as per academic requirement both the primary and secondary data have been collected to prepare this report through one to one interviews, surveys, online articles, sales reports, etc. Spellbound Leo Burnett's staffs are in every scenario dependent on the managing director. Its website is not established properly. Moreover, the creative team holds insufficient 3D artists and the consequence is they always delay their project and under pressure do their work and think about changing the task. Too much technological machinery is being performed very poorly, that’s the reason sometimes projects are delayed and failing to perform on time. Spellbound should employ more 3D artists, otherwise, their project prototype will always be delayed. Spellbound Leo Burnett strongly needs to arrange a month-long training session for all workers to learn not only about the program but also to understand all new circumstances. Additionally, Spellbound should keep updated with the current demand of this modern era and should bring updates in its activity level.

    An Interactive App for Learning Numeracy and Calculation for Children with Autism

    ASD - (Autism spectrum disorder) de nes a group of people who have some level of disabilities. Basically it represents a number of people of our society who are disabled mentally or physically. They do not have the proper opportunities of education. Education is the most important thing for a nation if it wants to develop. It is hard for such children to cope up with the traditional school system education. To serve them a better life by ghting against those disabilities and gain the basic educational knowledge in mathematics, we have developed a system for these special children to help them in learning mathematics. We introduced AR - (Augmented Reality) in our system to maximize the result. AR makes real world environment elements lively in the application. It will help the autistic children to understand the real environment easily. For developing this system we went through some processes, collected data from different ASD schools then simulated those data to generate graph and to get the nalresults which shows the efficiency of this application. As our designed system is already experimented in some school and the achieved result indicates positivity, so it can be said as a proof of concept. The application is colorful and attractive so that it gets the attention of every autistic child. For using AR, learning will be easy and fun for them. Hence it is an application which directly interacts with children; it is de nitely under the HCI (Human-computer interaction).

    Assessment of Type 2 Diabetic Patients at BIRDEM General Hospital

    In order to understand the nutritional management and health impacts of type-2 diabetic patients admitted to BIRDEM General Hospital with diverse concomitant health conditions, a study was created. Data from 60 patients were gathered by the institution. A questionnaire with questions about socioeconomic status, family history, food habits, and biochemical data was created. BMI calculations and anthropometric measures were used to determine nutritional status. Dietary consumption was calculated based on the subjects' typical eating patterns. Results showed that 72% of patients had heart complications, 43% of patients had chronic kidney disease (CKD), 43% of patients had hypertension, 32% of patients were between the ages of 56 and 65, 50% of patients had a history of hospitalization, 19% of patients had retinopathy, 43% of patients were overweight by BMI, and 22% of patients had a history of stroke. 60% of the patients were women, 47% of whom were housewives, and 70% of them were from middle-class backgrounds. 20% of the patients were illiterate.

Most of the young people and educated people are contributes the increase of use of internet for online marketplace in Bangladesh. There are a lot of people who want to work with images but can't use their skills because they don't have good sources. The good news for them is that we have a “Chobirhaat” website. This project is a revolution of this image industry in our country. The online image buy & selling marketplace will break the traditional image management. Every one buy images from everywhere through internet. It saves peoples time and their effort to sell images and buy images. In this project, I am developing a fully functioning online images buy and selling marketplace which is market ready and it is backed by the most secure platform of Node. js. Every person those who are sign up or sign in can visit the website. Chobirhaat is a contract-based work where you use your photographer skills and experience to work with multiple clients and perform a variety of tasks. Chobirhaat often includes activities that allow you to work from home. Just a lot of the work done by chobirhaat can be delivered online without its presence in the customer base. A chobirhaat is a self-employed person who provides images, often working on several different client jobs at a time. Chobirhaat tend to make money per image and charging rate per image.

    COMPARATIVE STUDY ON THE PROXIMATE COMPOSITION AND FATTY ACID PROFILES OF LIVER, GONAD AND MUSCLE IN MALE AND FEMALE Plotosus canius.

    The present study evaluated the proximate composition and fatty acid profile of Plotosus canius with respect to sex in order to understand potential biochemical differences between male and female individuals collected from the south-eastern coastal waters of Bangladesh, including the Kattoli mangrove forest (Chattogram) and the Moheshkhali channel (Cox’s Bazar). Proximate parameters such as moisture, protein, lipid, and ash were analyzed to assess overall nutritional quality, while detailed fatty acid composition including saturated (SFA), monounsaturated (MUFA), and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) was determined to evaluate the health-related lipid characteristics of the species. Morphometric analysis revealed that males attained greater total length and body weight than females. Length– weight relationship analysis indicated positive allometric growth in both sexes, with regression coefficients (b) of 3.13 for males and 3.28 for females. Proximate composition analysis demonstrated significant tissue- and sex-dependent variations. Muscle protein content was significantly higher in females than males (p < 0.05), whereas liver protein content did not differ significantly between sexes. Hepatic lipid content was markedly higher in males (p < 0.001), while muscle lipid levels showed no significant sex-based variation. Moisture content was significantly higher in male liver tissue, whereas ash content was significantly greater in female liver. Fatty acid profiling revealed pronounced sexual dimorphism across muscle, liver, and gonadal tissues. Female muscle tissue exhibited higher total saturated fatty acids (ΣSAFA), monounsaturated fatty acids (ΣMUFA), and n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), while male muscle contained higher n-3 PUFA, including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). In liver tissue, females showed substantially higher ΣSAFA and ΣMUFA, whereas males displayed elevated n-6 PUFA. Gonadal tissues showed the most distinct differences, with males exhibiting significantly higher ΣSAFA and n-3 PUFA, while females accumulated greater ΣMUFA and selected n-6 PUFA associated with reproductive functions. Atherogenicity index (AI) and thrombogenicity index (TI) varied significantly among tissues and sexes. Liver tissue showed the lowest AI and TI values in both sexes, indicating favorable lipid quality, whereas the highest values were recorded in male gonads. Overall, VIII the findings demonstrate that sex and tissue type strongly influence nutritional composition, fatty acid distribution, and lipid health indices in P. canius. These results provide valuable insights into sex-specific lipid metabolism, reproductive physiology, and the nutritional importance of this species for human consumption and fisheries management in coastal Bangladesh.

In this paper, a new rapid recognition approach using Efficient Net has been introduced to diagnose twenty types of skin disorders. Initially, image augmentation techniques have employed, and then eight architectures of Efficient Net between B0 and B7 have trained using the transfer learning approach. To evaluate the performance of models, different experimental studies have employed using a test set of 6300 images of skin disorders dataset that makes the proposed approach more reliable and accurate. EfficientNet-B7 has achieved the highest accuracy 97.10% among all architectures but has taken longer training time. EfficientNet-B0 has taken the lowest training time and has achieved 93.35% accuracy.     Image Based Real-Time Mango Leaf Disease Detection Utilizing Deep Learning Approach

    Early and accurate diagnosis of mango (Mangifera indica) leaf diseases is essential to reduce yield losses and avoid unnecessary pesticide use, yet reliable field-ready tools remain limited. This study evaluates whether a stacked deeplearning ensemble can deliver robust, generalizable classification of visually similar leaf pathologies while remaining deployable on mobile hardware. A curated image corpus of 6,400 samples spanning eight classes (seven diseases and healthy) was standardized and partitioned into stratified training, validation, and test sets. Five pretrained convolutional networks (VGG16, ResNet50, InceptionV3, DenseNet121, Xception) were fine-tuned under identical preprocessing and regularization regimes; their calibrated softmax outputs were concatenated and learned by a VGG16 meta-classifier. Performance on the heldout test set was assessed using overall accuracy and macro-averaged precision, recall, and F1, with class-wise confusion matrices and ROC–AUC to characterize separability. The ensemble achieved 99.38% accuracy with macro precision, recall, and F1 ≈ 0.99, outperforming the best single models (DenseNet121 and VGG16) and reducing confusions among symptomatically related classes. GradCAM analyses indicated that predictions were driven by lesion margins and chlorotic patterns rather than background artifacts, supporting diagnostic plausibility. The trained model was converted to TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference, demonstrating sub-second latency on commodity mobile hardware without network connectivity. These findings provide evidence that stacked ensembling of strong CNN backbones yields near-ceiling diagnostic performance for mango leaf diseases while satisfying practical constraints for field deployment, with potential to accelerate agronomic decision-making and promote more judicious chemical use in smallholder systems.

    This article discusses and analyzes the introducing of maintenance under Muslim law which refers the right to maintenance of a wife, provides mechanism to recover maintenance, focus the laws regarding maintenance and its applicability in Bangladesh and India. The principle of maintenance includes the basic requirement of a person for survival. Maintenance is the sum which a husband is under a commitment to make to his wife either amid the subsistence of the marriage or upon detachment or separation, in specific situations. Muslim law binds the husband to give proper maintenance to his wife. In Bangladesh and India there are some provisions of law relating to maintenance which has not its actual applicability in the court of both countries, for this reason many maintenance seeker women get deprive from their rights. The aim of this research is to compare the laws relating to maintenance in Bangladesh and India and find out the problems which arises from disputes of maintenance in the court of law in Bangladesh and India and give some recommendation to resolve the problems.

By this app people of mess can calculate their all type of food related problems. Which day which people would gone to market, all can be seen here. This apps will make our life more comfortable and trustable. In our growing development sector, especially for young middleclass people this apps will works a lot.

    Training and development is considered as important tool make skilled in various field. Today’s world of competition, it is impossible for a person who has little or no skills to survive. Business world is changing and increasing challenges everywhere. So training and development is needed to face these challenges. Human resource management is giving the hand for making the unskilled people skilled through providing effective training program. This report will present how well this organization design their training and development program for their employees. The purpose of this report is to explore the training and development process of the Janata Bank Ltd. This report covers background research of the industry and organization where I have present their history or origin , methodology to show how I collected the data, human resource practice in Janata Bank to present their practices and policies that are used for making better organization through skilled manpower, training and development process used in the organization in which it will show the practice of training process and objective of training program, what kind of materials they are going to use for training program, data analysis in which I have conducted a survey which respondents was the employees of that branch and interpret those data, in findings I have found some problems in the organization while designing training program, then I provide recommendation so that they can improve or solve those problem and create an effective training program and then I summarize the study to draw a conclusion. It provides the insight of the organizational internal training process and how to improve for more productive result. Each of the section helps to provide valuable information of the organizational training and development process.
