dc.description.abstractIf two and more computers are interrelatedand able to exchange data or information then we call network. I want increase the number of PC’s and exchange data or information from one to another that time we need some special PC’s are called Server. There various type of work in the network that is why is also many types of server have. For Example - DSN Server, Web Server, Mail Server, NFS Server, FTP Server,SAMBA Server,Firewall.Every of them works differently. If network is interconnected to the Internet and secure your information they mustsetup serverusing Linux OperatingSystem. That’swhy I choose this subject of my report is “Server install and configur on ISP (Linux Platform)”. The report discussed about the purpose of the specific server using on ISP, hardware requirementfor the server, choosing software and installation process of the software, stepto step server configuration process and simple troubleshootingof the server.Linux is one of the most great examples of free and open-source software collaboration. The main aim behind this internship work was to establish and develop our skill with upgraded information technology focusing Linuxbased server systems. To address this purpose intensive training and hands on experience on various real -time Linux-based server systemsare mentioned above, has been gained in the internship period.
