Whenever there is communication between two or more computers and the data or information between them may be exchanged, this is known as a network. To communicate data or information, we require a few specialized PCs, referred to as "servers," between two people. There are several kinds of servers. As an illustration, consider web servers, DNS servers, proxy servers, mail servers, firewalls, and FTP servers. The fact that each one functions differently makes it impossible to maintain a network. If our network is linked to the internet and we want to keep it safe, we need to have an understanding of how network systems function. This is why I selected this topic for my report.
