dc.description.abstractThe Two trends modernism and post modernism have create the a storm world of English literature. Literary figure have receive these two trends cordially and criticized both. Virtually these two trends have enriched English literature a lot. In Bangladesh the term modernism is quick known to the students of English literature but the term post modernism is quick to unknown to all. If we have not known about modernism and post modernism both our literature knowledge will remains incomplete. Modernism through the novel Virginia Woolf’s, I have represented post modernism through the novel Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut’s discussed and examine the principle the ideology and the elements of modern modernism and post modernism details.
