dc.description.abstractThe present study addresses itself to the challenges that human service administrators face in maintaining and moving their organizations forward. The study has identified twelve leadership challenge dimensions, explored variations in these challenges across agencies and administrators, and finally draws a concluding line and discusses policy implications based on the findings of the study for leadership development programs targeted at human service administrators.
