dc.description.abstractAn experiment was conducted at Horticulture Farm, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during the period from July, 2009 to April, 2010. The experiment consisted with two factors, Factor A: : control; F 1 : GA 3 ; F 2 : 4-CPA and F 3 : Flora : red colored flower and V : yellow colored flower 2 variety and maximum number of flower 1 2 but all other parameters were the lowest at V . For combined effect the highest peduncle length 1 2 F and maximum number of flower 1 F 2 2 and minimum 1 F . So plants of yellow colored flower treated with 4-CPA were more effective for quality production of gerbera.
