Abstract

The experiment was conducted on the net house at Soil Science Department of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka during the period from June to November 2014 in aman season to find out the effect of fertilizer, manure and lime on the nutrient availability and yield of T. Aman rice in different soil. BRRI dhan33 was used as the test crop in this experiment. The experiment comprised of two factors- Factors A: Soils from 2 locations, S 1 : Bhatgaon, S : Goari 0 : Control condition i.e. no fertilizers and manures; T 6 2 1 : N 150 P 30 K 70 S 20 Zn 2 : N 150 P 30 K 70 S 20 Zn 3 -1 soil, T 3 : 50% NPKS + 5 ton cowdung ha -1 T 4 : 50% NPKS + 5 ton cowdung ha -1 + 1.0 g dolomite kg -1 , T 5 3 : 50% NPKS + 5 ton compost ha -1 , T 6 : 50% NPKS + 5 ton compost ha -1 + 1.0 g dolomite kg -1 , T : 50% NPKS + 3.5 ton poultry manure ha -1 and T 8 : 50% NPKS + 3.5 ton poultry manure ha -1 7 + 1.0 g dolomite kg -1 soil. The experiment was laid out in a randomized complete block design -1 and the lowest grain yield pot -1 2 . The highest pore-water P 1 , while the lowest 1 2 . The highest N, P and K concentration in grain 1 , whereas the lowest ( . The highest organic matter 1 , while the lowest . The highest pH 2 , while the lowest pH . The highest available P and K -1 1 1 . The highest total nitrogen 2 , while the lowest . For different fertilizers, manure & lime, the highest grain yield pot -1 8 1 while the lowest . The highest pore-water P and K concentration 8 and T 2 0 . The highest N, P, and K concentration in grain 8 , T 7 and T , respectively 0 . The highest pH 6 6 2 and the lowest pH . The organic matter, available P, available K and total N in soil increased with 2 , T 4 , T respectively -1 2 6 T , whereas the lowest 1 T . The highest N, P, and K concentration in grain 1 T 8 0 , S 1 T 7 and S 1 T , respectively, whereas the lowest 2 T 0 , S 2 T 1 and S 1 T 0 2 . The highest pH 2 T and the lowest pH 2 T 0 4 . The organic matter, available P and total N in soil increased with the application of soil and fertilizers, manure & lime. Goari soil and 50% NPKS + 3.5 ton poultry manure ha -1 and T 8 8, 0 + 1.0 g dolomite kg performed better in relation to yield contributing characters and yield of BRRI dhan33. The level of pH was more increased in the post experiment soil by Goari with 50% NPKS + 5 ton cowdung ha + 1.0 g dolomite kg -1 treatments. The level organic matter, available P and total N and K increased though application of inorganic fertilizers plus manure & lime soil.
