dc.description.abstractThe field operation of Teknaf DSS was supported by the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR,B)and the data processing and tabulation of the results were supported by the Canadian International Development Agency. ICDDR,B is supported by the countries and agencies which share its concern for the health and population problems of developing countries. Current major donors giving assistance to ICDDR,B are: Aga khan Foundation, Arab Gulf Programme, Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada (Canadian International Development Agency and the International Development Research Centre), the Ford Foundation, Japan, Norwegian Agency for International Development, Saudi Arabia, Swedish Agency for Research Cooperation with Developing Countries, switzerland, United Kingdom, United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Development Programme(UNDP), United States Agency for International Development, World Bank, and World Health Organization.
