Abstract

This internship report details my three-month practical experience at Fakir Knitwears Ltd. from August 16 to October 30, 2025. I was under the supervision of Mr. Sumon Kante Singha, the CHRO of HR and Compliance. As part of the Post Graduate Diploma in Knitwear Industry Management (PGD-KIM) program at BRAC University, the internship aimed to provide me with real experience in factory operations in the RMG sector. During this time, I observed and learned from several departments, including Merchandising, Human Resources, Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Production (Knitting and Dyeing). Each area taught me how coordination, process control, and ethical practices help the factory run smoothly. This experience improved my understanding of industry operations, strengthened my communication and analytical skills, and connected my classroom learning to real-world application. This report summarizes my observations, learning outcomes, and reflections on overall industrial practices.
