Abstract
The main objectives of this study were to determine and describe the participation of
rural women in household and agricultural activities and also to explore the
relationship between each of the selected characteristics of the rural women and their
participation in household and agricultural activities. Data were collected from 110
respondent women of five villages of Pakundia upazila under Kishoreganj district, by
using a structured pretested interview schedule. Appropriate scales were developed in
