Abstract

In this present era, the Islamic holy religious pieces of literature are the Holy Al-Quran and the Hadiths which can be found in digital forms on smartphones, websites, computers, and in other technologies using social media, software/applications, websites, etc. platforms as text, audio or video format. This is considered as a good side but the negative effect brings a huge problem, which most of us are unaware of. Pausing the Islamic audio or videos in the middle of a verse can lead to an inappropriate meaning of it. However, this sounds so small but this causes us major sin in the perspective of Islam because the words in the Holy Al-Quran are directly from Allah, and stopping in the middle of a verse may bring incorrect or unacceptable meanings. For example: Allah Ta'ala says, "And Allah is not ashamed of what is right." (Surah Ahzab: 53). If someone stops saying "Allah is not ashamed" then it will be incorrect and unappreciating. This distorts the original purpose of the verse. Our research provides a simple but effective method using Natural Language Processing. While the Holy Al-Quran is being played in an audio or video on the user’s device and the user wants to pause, it is not going to pause instantly. Here the pause system will go through a process of our Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning Model which can identify if the currently playing verse is finished or not. So, the system will pause only after the current verse has ended automatically.
