Bangla Handwriting Recognition

Abstract

This report presents the design and implementation of a Bangla Handwritten OCR. This project is going to be useful for both the government and the general people. The software can be used to easily convert a handwritten Bangla document to editable text, i.e, we are going to digitize the handwritten text. We are going to take an input image of the handwritten text. The image is then preprocessed in various steps and then sent to the model. After that, the output is shown. The principal idea is to convert images of text documents such as those obtained from scanning a document into editable text.
