Abstract

The activies, services and programmes of the Diarrhoeal Diseases Information Services and Documentation Centre are supported by the International Development Research Centre, Canada and the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Diseases Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR,B). ICDDR,B is supported by countries and agencies which share its concern about the impact of diarrhoeal diseases on the developing world. Current major donors are giving assistance to ICDDR,B are: Aga Khan Foundation, Arab Gulf Programme, Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada (Canadian International Development Agency and the International Development Research Centre), the Ford Foundation, Japan, Norwagian Agency for International Development, Saudi Arabia, Swedish Agency for Research Co-operation with Developing Countries, Switzerland, United Kingdom,United Nations Children's Fund, United Nations Development Programme, United States Agency for International Development,and World Health Organization.
