On Connectedness Concepts in Fuzzy Topological Spaces

Abstract

The goal of the thesis is to find out some new connectedness concepts in fuzzy topological spaces. Some concepts of connectedness in fuzzy topological spaces that already exist in the literature are recalled here also. In this work, various type of connectedness like Ci - connectedness (i = I, 2, 3, 4), (C3) - connectedness, stronger forms of connectedness are studied in detail. Interrelations between various connectedness concepts in fuzzy topological spaces are discussed. In each chapter of this thesis, we give several possible definitions, both existing and new, of a concept and then compare the resulting concepts and determine thereby the interrelations among them. Some other properties of these concepts have also been discussed.
