Abstract

The world is currently confronting the energy crisis, and it is the most important issue. The natural resources of energy, such as fossil fuels which cannot be recycled and one of the biggest reasons for environmental pollution causes a major reduction. With global steps to reduce the dependency on traditional resources, renewable energy sources have taken over all sectors. The use of solar power is increasing exponentially as a good renewable energy option. Instead, we have created solar panels with complicated technology to directly transform the sun's rays into power. Many available methods can be applied to make the solar cell more efficient which will help reduce this cost. For now, solar tracking systems have proven to be very effective in maximizing the efficiency of cells by keeping them aligned with the sun. This work aims to introduce a microcontroller-based design for building an auto solar tracker. The sensors of the light tracker practical are LDRs. Unique to the tracker is that its control structure guarantees system controllability in three different fashions. Moreover, the design procedure noted herein is used to fabricate a small prototype for solar radiation measurement.
