dc.description.abstractSmartphone penetration was 10% in 2015 and is expected to grow in coming years. Card based ATMs (automated teller machine) are being updated or replaced by modern card-less ATMs in developed countries. The purpose is to improve security and prevent fraud. In this thesis we are going to introduce a new authentication process for smartphone based transaction by including code cards.
