Abstract
In this report I tried to represent the insights gathered during my internship at Renaissance
Apparels Ltd. which is a 100% export oriented leading knitwear manufacturing country in
Bangladesh. I tried to focus on understanding overall processes of Renaissance Apparels from
yarn to fabric and fabric to garment item. I had to work on five departments during my
internship which are: Marketing & Merchandizing, Printing, Fabric Production Unit, Washing
and Supply Chain Department.
I tried to show the workflows of these departments and how all the processes are maintained
and managed simultaneously and why collaboration between merchandising and all other
departments are really important for a RMG factory. I also focused on the areas in which
improvements can be done. Finally, I tried to highlight my learning experience and my
improvement for my personal growth during the internship.
Through my report, I aimed to showcase the activities that occurs in each department, their
importance within the organization, the relationships between different functional departments,
and the areas in which improvements could be made. Additionally, I highlighted my personal
growth and learning experiences during the internship.
