dc.descriptionPharmaceutical industry is a crucial global financial service industry. The fundamental functions enclosed by a pharmaceutical company comprise mobilizing sales and services and deploying that in credits of divergent categories in contour with the requirement of various customers. The interest of the extensive variety of people is strongly related to company’s operations and performance. For the sake of customers’ safety, regulators are also engrossed in monitoring performance of pharmaceutical companies all over. More than 97% of medicines of Bangladesh are owned by different categories of companies, which are also largely contributing to the growth in the county’s GDP and employment. Since, pharmaceutical activity affects the overall economic performance; incessant measurement of performance of these service institutions has been indispensable. Pharmaceutical business system occupies an important place in a nation’s economy. In times the pharmaceutical business performance over the world has been undergoing a lot of changes due to deregulation, technological innovation, globalization etc. Pharmaceutical sector in Bangladesh is lagging far behind in adopting these changes. So it is an important aspect to evaluate the performance of pharmaceutical business of our country. The “Libra Infusions Limited” is one of the leading private owned pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh established under the Pharmacy ordinance of 1976 and operating under National Drug Policy 2005 also. This report is made on the basis of “Libra Infusion Limited”
dc.description.abstractDetermining the firm performance by using a set of financial measures such as comparative balance sheet, ratios analysis and trend analysis is an interesting and challenging problem for many researchers and practitioners. Identification of factors (i.e., financial measures such as comparative balance sheet, ratios analysis and trend analysis) that can accurately predict the firm performance is of great interest to any decision maker. In this study, I tried to show the financial performance analysis with special reference to Libra Infusion Limited through comparative balance sheet, ratios analysis, trend analysis and Correlation analysis.
